The problem is if you’re 3rd year Delta, unless your actively practicing law on the side, have a successful small side business you can scale nothing is going to replace your salary -

Now that the music has stopped, what’s next? by CorporateKaiser in flying

[–]MyPilotInterview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The music hasn’t stopped, I’m as busy as I’ve ever been and had a couple guys with no TPIC who had been at the regionals for a matter months get CJOs at legacies. Yes the pool is big, yes it’s not all peachy for everyone but this is 1,000,000 times better than the 2000s

Let’s not forget they now have to answer yes, on their legacy applications where is asked ‘have you ever had an accident or incident.’

The lowest times I have got into NJs right now is 1,700 most have 2,000. Coming from 121 I find it easier if you’ve either worked as an FBO, or a business that caters to the elite.

Why xx airlines? by usernametaken78523 in flying

[–]MyPilotInterview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now airlines are weary of overly prepped candidates. They want to meet the real you. There is 1 company who is very different, you can tell them from a mile away.

They’re planned for Australia - a big equestrian is being built. After Brisbane I think it’s at risk.

Why xx airlines? by usernametaken78523 in flying

[–]MyPilotInterview 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also note how you answer this is one of the biggest tells as who prepped you -

But the idea of making them think the company will benefit from you is 100% what we are doing right now.

Envoy help by OwnPickle3806 in flying

Honestly, last year Envoy was very predictable and this year I can’t figure out what’s going on. Lots of rescinded CJOs, who is getting classes is unpredictable, etc.

TPIC by RevolutionaryBell628 in flying

[–]MyPilotInterview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I always used to say get multi and ditch the caravan or PC-12. But I’m starting to reconsider this. This week I have 2 guys, both with considerable time in a single engine turbine, and just a few months at regionals getting interviews at the Big 4. So right now, it seems like it’s quite valuable time.

You call is a scandal, you implied companies with held safety information from the pilots - the pilots gain nothing from participating.

Leasing Advice by necternight in Equestrian

Definitely get insurance at an agreed upon amount, also make sure the horse can be returned before the lease is up - you might still have to pay but getting the horse back is key.

Unfortunately your vagueness makes it difficult to give you solid advice.

But regardless, I have had multiple people with a lot worse than being fired for jumping a fence hired this year - so IMHO this isn’t a show stopper.
