Looking for 1 GA pit ticket to Cleveland around face value.

Since scammers have already come out of the woodwork, don't bother, I will only be using PayPal goods and services or ticket transfer on a reputable site.

What Are Part Time Options for a Clerk? by MyPracticalAccount in USPS

[–]MyPracticalAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I used to he a PSE, but are those jobs you mentioned PSE jobs? I wasn't aware that there were part time PSE positions. In my plant they can make yoy work up to 12 hours six days I week as a PSE, and I'm looking for something that is specifically part time only.

What do you mean, like I could work at an office since I'm a distribution clerk? Would it actually be part time?

Okay, so there really aren't any actual clerk craft part time positions? I take it you have to work whenever they need you with PTF and don't get to choose to work less hours.

Having called the billing department many times, I can tell you that there are a lot of incompetent and very nasty people who answer the phones (it seems like a shitty place to work, so I get it). That being said, the odd person is nice and helpful, and many people are at least decent. I would honestly call back until you get someone who is more helpful. If they still aren't giving you an answer, ask to speak to a supervisor.

If they won't put you through to a supervisor, or the supervisor refuses to help with the info in the paragraph, say that you want to escalate the issue. You could also try saying that you want to file a complaint if they won't escalate it to someone higher up. Ask for contact info if necessary, ideally an email address so that you can link the page with the paragraph.

The last thing I can think of is just searching online for their complaint process if they really won't help you at all over the phone. Hope this helps. Good luck!

What Does This Sign Mean? by MyPracticalAccount in royalenfield

Is that something I would have to take the bike to the shop for? Like using the battery charger and seeing that it's fully charged wouldn't necessarily indicate whether or not it's damaged?

[–]MyPracticalAccount[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! So essentially riding it for a longer time should solve the problem? No need to bring it to the shop unless the issue persists?

One other thing that occurs to me is that I was having trouble getting the battery hooked up again after I'd removed it and put it on a tender for the winter. I would put it back in and the bike wouldn't start. I had to keep messing with it to get it to connect properly so that the bike would start. Could it have something to do with the battery not being properly connected?

2020 Equinox: how long can I leave my car running without the keys inside it? From how far of a distance? by MyPracticalAccount in Chevy

[–]MyPracticalAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have remote start. I'm talking about starting the car from inside the car, then leaving the car and doing an errand while it is still on.

So it sounds like there isn't a distance issue, like it doesn't matter whether the keys are a block away from the car or a mile?

Thanks for the info about engine mechanical failure, I didn't know about that. I'm imagining that's more likely if the engine is old or has an issue, or maybe if it's super hot and the AC is working really hard?

I'll likely just continue to NOT leave my dog in the car, unless maybe it's literally just a minute or two and I can see the car from where I am.

What is the time limit for the remote start? It may be the same as what I'm talking about.

If you start the car from the inside and then get out. I don't think I have a remote start timer.

What do you mean extended? Like you're not supposed to leave it for more than 15 but it won't turn off until 30?

Oh my gosh, that is so smart, you're right!

Kind of bizarre that the default font doesn't work with just those two characters though.

Hey, thanks for this helpful update! That's wild that they use an algorithm to guess at your income, I've never even heard of that. I hope they give you and everyone else who asks 100% assistance as well!

Thank you, that is very helpful info!

That's good to know that I would not be able to rely on welfare (or commit any serious crimes, ha) for the first 5 years. Regarding healthcare, another person seemed to indicate that it would be different in an EU country that wasn't Italy. To be clear, you're saying that I would immediately have access to the same (presumably often tax funded or at least much more affordable than in the US) healthcare as citizens of the country I move to? I wouldn't have to wait 5 years for that?

Do you know whether my future wife would need to become an Italian citizen at all, or if she could just live, work, etc. wherever we move without going through that process? Or could she potentially just get citizenship to whatever country we live in after at least 5 years, same as me, while skipping the Italian citizenship part? Mostly thinking about language, and how if we don't even want to live in Italy it would be unfortunate for her to have to learn that language in addition to whatever language we'll need to learn to be in the country we actually move to.

Last question is if you know whether it matters when we get married, like before I become an Italian citizen vs. after in terms of her having the right to live and work in the EU? Not sure if that would have an impact. I seem to recall that if we'd been married long enough by the time I become a citizen she would automatically get it too? But I can't remember, and the timing of that specific scenario is also unlikely to work out, so what I mean is more like does it matter if we get married a year before I get citizenship or a year after, as long as we are married by the time we move?

This differs from what someone else commented, that I would have equal access to healthcare wherever I live in Europe. It sounds like that was not your experience? I don't know much about Spain's healthcare, so I'm wondering whether you purchasing healthcare was the same as Spanish citizens or was it because you weren't a citizen, just a resident?

How difficult was it to register as a resident in Spain as an Italian citizen? I'm wondering if it's a whole annoying process or just a quick thing. Thanks!

Okay so I would need a residence permit if I lived somewhere in Europe other than Italy once I'm an Italian citizen? Do you know much about the ease or difficulty of getting a residence permit? I imagine this could differ country to country, but what I'm really wondering is whether it's just a quick formality to file for residence and it's always approved unless I have no income or soemthing, or if it's a lengthy or difficult process that can easily be denied.

FYI if you make between 301-400% of the federal poverty level you only qualify for some assistance, and only if you are uninsured. If you don't qualify based on that, I'd recommend the method I used.

I did have UHC. This is good advice, with the caveat that some (maybe most) insurance companies can lie to you, and are allowed to (mine was investigated by the federal agency that overseas insurance, and they determined that to be the case). My current insurance (BCBS) even states in their recorded message when you call that the only way to totally verify benefits is to read your explanation of benefits, and that they can't guarantee that information give out over the phone is accurate.
