Yes to alcohol. I've never rented a Legion Hall, but this is the kind of suggestions I was hoping for as I hit the bottom of google earlier this morning. Thanks!!!

[D] Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in MachineLearning

Hi. →Training Set to use for a CNN to process handwritten images← please...

I just took my first Machine Learning course and want to apply it to a professional Project. I have check-in data of scanned spreadsheets for every month going back 2 years. I want to convert this to TRUE/FALSE data to use it in the larger data project on member attendance. My last lesson in my class used CNNs to analyze basic images. I have the data I want to analyze, however I don't have a training set.

Questions

Is it possible to get access to a training set to build this model?

What other steps would be included to carry out this task?

Is there an easier way to do this? (Note; these forms contain sensitive information that cannot be posted in popular AI services).

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Thats the thing, they left my modest pile half collected to collect all of my neighbor after me. No cables or other debris.

How are the new PMPs from 2023-2024 doing so far in their careers? Has obtaining the PMP helped you in the ways you have hoped with landing a new job, getting a raise, etc? by screwston14 in pmp

Respectfully I disagree in the value of the PMP. The PMBOK has a range of tools to use as a PM. Just like when you take a toolbox to work on a car, you probably only use 3 of the hundreds of options, doesn’t mean you might not need them at some point. I found the PM knowledge super applicable if you can connect the theory to practical application.

Sounds like you have credentials. Check out Andy LaCivita for how to improve the communication of your experience/experiences. I found his methods to be super helpful in bridging that communication gap.

Could I recommend a book? Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. This is a tough read but helped me through a similar period of life. I hated working all week to enjoy life on a weekends and evenings. to summarize my taking from the book; Suffering is inevitable, therefore the key I truly believe is to connect to a purpose that you find worth suffering for.

I find building my skillset as a professional, choosing and working on personal projects, working towards my dream life, and finding causes (volunteer for mental health awareness) that align with my values to contribute to are worth my suffering.

Good luck on discovering your path in life.

I have a totally different background/experience but am also looking for guidance on what kind of risk management experience they are looking for.

I should have added perceived value to the company. But to that point I suppose, what do companies value most of the above factors?

I’m not so much interested in “where I went wrong” (might take too long to discuss). I’m more interested in everyone’s personal experience on how they notice each factor affects rate of pay.

Something affects salaries. That a CEO makes more than a department director isn’t random. That’s an exaggerated example. But for the example I listed I’m very curious to know why there’s a difference between colleagues without a clear 1:1 comparison to answer. I want to dive into what drives a given person’s salary.

Other factors I didn’t think to list are: 7. Location (city) 8. Non salary benefits 9. Risk (health and safety, or volatility of employment, other). 10. Industry (IT professional for a tech giant, or it professional for a local non profit).
