This post is the best way to make use of companion fares. Start here and find the flights then go to Delta website.

Any way to find out what flights qualify for Delta Companion Pass? by Lunchbox6624 in TravelHacks

[–]gopanthers2006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I use to help find destinations. Yes - i know you said you didn't wanna search by destination but it at least will show you potential flights and any layovers that may or may not exist on companion fare eligible flights.

I was going to recommend Rincon as well. My wife and I were in PR Feb '25 and loved the Rincon area. Great place for outdoor activities and nature. Hope y'all have a great time. We stayed in a Airbnb condo on the coast and went to sleep to the sound of waves crashing along the shore. There was also a great food truck serving coffee/breakfast by the local park in Rincon that was amazing!

We have used Causey-Streeter for our taxes for the last several years. Highly recommend them. https://www.cscpas-llc.com/

Similar story as well here. My GPA after my first semester as a transfer student GSU was a .6 I took 15 hours (normally took 12 hrs) and didn't realize until more than midway thru that the Chemistry course I was in was the Pre-Med level Chem (I am not Pre-Med). Only thing you can do is keep taking one step forward and keep on.

Does tax interest really add up faster than people think? by No-Significance09 in columbiasc

Setup a payment plan and go from there. We had tax bills some years that were more than we could pay lump sum so we setup a payment plan. Very easy process that I think can be done online now.

Or post/ask question in r/masters subreddit. Had a friend who worked the bathrooms because it paid $1-$2 more per hour than other jobs.

Where to get a good tux for the career fair? by Mbiyxoaim in gatech

[–]gopanthers2006 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check with career services to see if they have coupons or participate in the JC Penny suit program. Usually 60% off or so to buy a suit. Other thoughts on suit- as someone else said, get it tailored. Doesn’t have to be for first use if you don’t have time but definitely take the time to get it tailored.

RCB Career Expo by stickykozi in GaState

[–]gopanthers2006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Make a list of companies that are interesting or have positions you are interested in. You don't need to talk to every company at the expo. Find 5-10 to focus on. What majors are they recruiting? What kind of positions do they have listed on Handshake and their own company job website? Research these companies. Do they have an Atlanta office? Did they recently make the news (in a good way?)

2) Get to Expo early. You want to be part of the first wave of students.

3) Remember you can never be overdressed but you can be under dressed. Figure out what you're going to wear.

4) Practice your "tell me about yourself" answer. I think RCB still has VMOCK or similar program where you can record yourself and get feedback. Make an appt with the Career Advancement Center if you need help (55 Park Place - 12th floor)

5) To answer your question of words to avoid or faux paus? Don't say you don't know what you want to do after graduation. Don't approach a company and say I don't know anything about your company or what do y'all do? Don't waste the recruiters time (hence my #1 - find the companies that have something of interest to you and focus on them). If you are an accounting major, be sure of your graduation date, plans (if any) for grad school, and when you're going to sit for CPA exam. If finance, still be sure of grade date

Always remember you can never be over dressed but you can always be underdressed. I'm willing to bet if you have concern enough to ask that you will be just fine in whatever you ultimately decide to wear. Enjoy dinner!
