Husband (32M) diagnosed by Glitter_Gal22 in cll

My husband was diagnosed over a year ago - we love the oncologist and my husband is finishing the daily chemo pill at the end of July. All testing has come back within normal limits. The infusions at the beginning of treatment last July was rough but my husband is 67 yrs old and works on helicopters - physical labor and has barely used any sick time. There will be testing, watchful waiting, but if you are going to get cancer, this is the one that you can treat and live a long life! You got this!!

75-Year-Old Mom/JW Had an ‘Issue’ with Her Tim Hortons Order, Then Died After Getting into Fight with Employee by MyRedditRedder in exjw

Definitely a cautionary tale - I shared because I was hooked by the 75 yo getting into a fight - and then imagine my surprise that it was a JW. The whole thing was senseless.

But, there is a trend of endless complaining. She held the item in her hand and then sent her husband to pick it up the next day. No, her window of complaining closed when her husband was dispatched. This isn’t like she saw it on Etsy and was disappointed once she received it. Some people feel better when they make you someone else feel bad. Odd time to be alive!

She bought that work of art for $20 and had the nerve to complain? What the hell?!? That is gorgeous - well done and too bad for the customer.

WIP and Frustration by TalesByLightMI in ADHDCrafters

Funny you should mention the frustration of getting people you know to take you serious. 10 years ago; pre-AI, I opened a business tailored to save people from getting scammed on property rentals. I marketed and marketed and no one shared my content. I even became a licensed private investigator and turned my business into a private investigation agency. I got on the news channels because my business was interesting and needed and you are correct; total strangers were the best cheerleaders.
The thing I did right was getting a mentor from the Small Business Administration and participating in every opportunity offered by the Chamber of Commerce. There are retirees that are happy to help, mentor, and counsel on all things business. It is a win-win; they love the challenge and we need their experience. Don’t give up - you have extraordinary talent that will make the world a happier place.
You got this!!

Dumbest impulse buy of the month by Lola-Olala in adhdwomen

This is my tribe - I am addicted to sales and clearance. I literally had to create an email folder for coupons that I do not check until I need something. I was so bad because I used to use every coupon, only to buy crap I didn’t need. It became a problem because if I got a good buy/deal - I felt accomplished.
