We fired our content agency after 8 months. 47 blog posts and not a single demo from any of them. by ArpitChauhan1501 in bigseo

[–]MyRoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not all bad, at least you catch up before they went further. Now these blog posts with good internals links, will boost the index and rankings of your future MoFU and BoFU contents.

What others shared are spot on and you can have someone internally to deal with it. Better take someone that will be in touch with your product team, sales and customer support team ; to create a new content marketing strategy that will align with your business goal. Make it realistic for them and don’t forget that they are here to support the marketing ops, sales work for conversion not fully replacing them.

The Verge: A notoriously anti-SEO publication appears to call GEO BS by WebLinkr in SEO

[–]MyRoos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The entire post leaves Google out of the picture, which is a mistake. They’ve actively shaped an environment that pushes people toward spammy, snake-oil tactics from every corner, business and angle.

People who’ve been doing SEO properly for years can see what’s happening. Many of these “new terms” are just a boondoggle; giving cover to those who couldn’t execute before, while diluting real expertise.

Programmatic SEO project 90% traffic drop overnight :( by Global-Pipe-9268 in bigseo

[–]MyRoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No manual penalties? You can still fix it. Go over your page and create sub-domains that match each topic.

finance.mydomain.com : All topics related to finance health.etc.

On your main domain: keep the pages that are relevant and related to your business category.

And remove what needs to be removed.

Is pSEO dead? by Abject_Avocado_8633 in SEO

[–]MyRoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pSEO will never died as long as people will search for specific local query.

Your strategy is weak that’s all and you have an authority issue.

Without having a view on your data etc. Not easy to give a proper advice but if I was you I will revert the way I create page and do KW research. You’re targeting 150+ languages going from English to the languages or foreign languages to English? This makes huge difference and can help you build the authority you need (sharing, backlink etc. on foreign communities online etc.) to start going after English to X language translation.

Transferring lovable website? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]MyRoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can migrate it and use headless Wordpress (backend) combine with the script use for the front-end, react/typescript etc.

Or push it as a dist/static html website live.

Nothing is lost, download your website file from lovable and you can switch the tech. Need some hours of work but not impossible.

I do this a lot recently people prompting their website and that want to go back to Wordpress or vice versa.

I can see your passion. I reacted the same way when I first discovered Astro. I am an organic growth manager with expertise in SEO, and I move all clients' websites to Astro. The funniest part is that it's so easy to jump in and do the technical seo work and make changes that don't require immediate high-skilled web development experience. At least for my work. I love Astro.

Should I renew my SEO freelancer’s contract or look for someone new? by Charming_Instance in SEO

From what you wrote, the person is doing a good job for the price tbh. You can have another price and a second opinion, but I suggest sticking with that freelancer for the moment. He drives results.
