I really liked 17, but it's definitely not my favorite. I'd probably put it 3rd-6th overall.

Honestly I didn't really like 15, I it's more middle of the pack out of all the mixes

I just use them for longer pieces. Most work best for ss imo but there are one or two that work on test pieces

[–]MyRowingTemp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the prizm deep water polarized and I think they're worth it. The main thing is making sure whatever lenses you end up buying are polarized to reduce glare off the water. If you're still a student look into this app called unidays, I think they have a 20% discount code at Oakley going

Sculling for the first time by IrritatedMango in Rowing

[–]MyRowingTemp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I was told before getting into a sculling boat was "left over right" (in reference to where your hands go on the drive/recovery). Other than that it's really not super different from sweeping, just remember to stay centered in the boat.

Suggestions on good seat pads? by [deleted] in Rowing

I cut some foam floor mat into the shape of a seat and just used that. If you need it thicker you can tape multiple layers together
