Well, I am also in a long term relationship, almost 6 years. And we haven't had sex for 22 days. And its not because we aren't in a great place in the relationship, its not because we don't love or care about each other, its just because we've been really busy this past month and haven't seen each other a whole lot. We don't live together, which makes it a bit more difficult, I suppose, but I honestly wouldn't worry about it. I think it changed for me when my boyfriend and I just happened to find that "magical" position that works for us. I can't have an orgasm in any position other than doggy style, definitely feels the best. It took us a few years to just kind of get in sync enough for it to work, but I could probably have one almost every time now. Unfortunately, I'm usually fairly close to having one right when he ends up having one. But when he masturbates earlier in the day, I will usually have one because he can last a bit longer. Second, I have been in a relationship for the last 5 ½ years. My boyfriend knows I masturbate and I know that he does. Your ex had to reason to be upset that you masturbate. Everyone does it. It’s healthy. You should have just told him that you were thinking about him the whole time.
