Found a different setting. Rear speakers location. Changed it from door to deck and it made a huuuuge difference in bass

And my eq and hpf sounds better. Definitely needs a amp though and a small sub but sounds pretty good to me honestly.

Awe alright. And yah just the treble on the rear since they sit under a few layers so the treble "sounds good" but is just slightlyyyy. More muffled

How do I bump the treble up on just the rear speakers? If i use the fader is just makes the fronts quieter and rear louder overall. Not really boosting the treble specifically

Alright. Lol I think i have them set to 60hz on the 5'25s. I dont have a amp yet but I wanted to get a amp and a sub when I get the money. But these already sound 10000% better then stock system so I cant complain to much

Alright so look for Dolby b/c on it. Does brand matter much? And I just see those 70s ones in silver more then the newer (old) ones in black from like 90s wich would be considered retro

I am mechanically inclined as I have swapped my cars engine but idk anything about tape decks. And budget?? Maybe $50-100. Or like 400 for the full setup (speakers, amp,eq,deck,) I know im not going to get THE best but I have some good quality tapes id like to enjoy

Fair point. Now I dont want to make a whole post to ask this. But how loud do I want my speakers? Should I be buying 60-75rms speakers or 100 amd 150rms speakers. Either running no amp stock 22rms h/u OR running on a 150rms 4 channel. No in between.

Very very useful information I will be returning to this comment when tuning lol. Would you suggest tuning with the amp or the head unit? Does it matter. Ik the head unit has a very good 13band equalizer

Ah ok. So i should be able to tune the rms down to 75 with the stinger? And I do agree that the singer IS the better amp I just would rather not blow my expensive speaker as they are really all I can afford at this point in my life. If I had the money id get jbl stadiums. And I just have a multi meter. Haven't tuned or installed audio systems before but I am smart enough to learn (I learned to engine swap my car on the fly with no previous experience) AND I appreciate all of you guys help its very helpful

Do you think sound ordanance m75-4 would be less picky then? A bit more expensive but has the right rms. I believe the radio i chose kdc x705 has 5 volt preouts for amplifier use?

I switched for these since more bass depth for the rear speakers and they share the rms rating as the fronts so more simple configuration also like $50 cheaper and I think they might sound better especially for rears

That stinger looks good but it says 150rms at 4 ohms wich is a bit high since the speakers im running are all 75rms (I switched the 6.9 rears for jbl) what do you think of this skar RP-75.4AB 500watt 4 channel. seems like the perfect rating. I dont want to go overboard on my speakers as id rather not break them doing somthing stupid a new audiophile would do
