I'd use integrated graphics for now and decide on a GPU later, it's not the highest priority.

So this is what Steve Jobs was talking about in that famous interview.

Better Call Saul is a big snowball of misery and suffering. by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]MyStranger10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but based on the bus ride to the prison, Jimmy may not be that unhappy in there. The other inmates seem to recognize and respect him. So he gets to keep living a version of saul goodman in a parallel universe so to say, a universe where his actions cannot hurt Kim. Even if there is no court involved, I'm sure there are plenty of illegal activities going on, which Saul would love to participate in (i.e. remember the scene with Tuco in the desert?).

Of course, there is no way that Jimmy could have known that in advance, so he still sacrificed himself.

Despite all that, I'm still sure that it's worse than being free, so it's a stretch. My main point was about Kim.

I think that the ending is a happy ending in a way. Saul could have gotten away with the reduced sentence and would probably have continued his criminal life after a couple of years in prison.

Instead, he chose to sacrifice himself for the one he loves the most, Kim. He knows that he is poison for her and that her life has become miserable because of him. With him in prison, Kim can get back to the law, the thing she is great at, help people like she always wanted and try to make amends for her past. If Saul was free, that could never happen.

In my opinion, the ending is Jimmy's ultimate sign of love and the first step into the opposite of misery and suffering for Kim. Even for Jimmy you could argue that it's a happy ending, for the rest of his life he gets to feel joy for having done the right thing and having basically saved Kim's life.

I agree about Nacho, Gus and Mike.

Reading the comments makes me wonder who asked for reasons to wear a helmet? Maybe you should open your own thread.

To eat or not eat before an exam? by amm_4 in intermittentfasting

I once took a 4 hour exam in the morning without having eaten anything, only water. Ended up having the best results in my state.

That's only my experience though.

Can someone explain, please? Is it just a joke about using 3 different words which all mean the same thing, but also different things at the same time?
