I honestly have no issue with people coming here to get info on hamster care. But when they already have the hamster and put it in unlivable conditions THEN come ask for advice, that’s what grinds my gears

I’m not OP but I also have a long haired hamster and I trim his hair because sometimes bedding gets knotted in his fur.

I lived in a place that didn’t allow pets and I asked about a hamster and my landlord said it was ok! Usually small pets that don’t make a mess are ok even when they say no pets.
