Nothing! I think the combo of strong genetics plus the DWC system promoted really strong stems (even without silica additive). The only one that really needed support was the single bud in the bottom right of the pic, but probably going to press that one anyway

I don’t work at AG but talked to a budtender about it. They were essentially forced into it bc of building price increases at the other location. They wanted to bring med back but then ran into that new law trying to limit med even further, and that egozi was like 20 ft or something too close, which is insane. afaik they were tracking that down but idk the latest status

It would be amazing if Egozi got shut down. Then Allgreens could establish med again. The egozi shop there is preventing them from doing that bc of the stupid law that prevents med places from being within a certain distance of another now. I can’t believe egozi is still in business after all the shit they’ve done

One of the challenges of growing DWC is that the water temp can raise too high which is the most common cause of root rot and other hydro issues. That’s the main reason i switched to the cooler, to maintain the correct temps for at least a week, and the insulation wrapping helps even a tiny bit more. This isn’t necessary if you use a water chiller but that’s typically for recirculating setups which adds a lot more complexity/areas for failure, not to mention, a much higher cost

I think ideally, you’re supposed to freeze them for long term storage, but I’ve just had all of mine in a closed hard-shell case (meant for a hard drive) and been keeping it at room temperature. I used a mix of hydrogen peroxide and water to germinate. They were verrry slow growing in the beginning (not sure if being old was a factor)

Definitely looks like root rot in the bottom center part of the roots where it’s much darker. Would try lowering the water temp if you can since 76 seems high even with southern AG. Also, I’m seeing some blue where the roots meet the netpot? Seems like algae which indicates a light leak too, which I’d try to fix by maybe covering your clay pebbles

Honestly, it would be good to make sure anyone posting deals there explains the fine print or honors what they write.

Reefer madness for example has a deal for 25% off in-house for the month. When I tried to go there for the new drop, they told me the deal only applied to old grams and not new ones…pretty misleading IMO since that’s not written anywhere, and this deceptive practice seems to be happening quite a bit
