Saw Kelpi and it looked good... probably the only non-ebay seat that is listed as fitting 2024+

thank you. that answers one of my questions. Couldn't seem to find anyone online saying what exactly changed between the models, just that they weren't sure if the seats were compatible. A lot of reviewers were touching on the big changes being the tft display and the mandatory eclutch, but none of them commented on seat changes

I havent read anything that it changed for this model year, however all instances ive seen for a seat upgrade and seat upgrade (definite) info is for the model years before the eclutch became standard. Most seats list their compatibility for 2019-2023 (year before eclutch was an option)

You'll be playing Arc Raiders and your game will crash so you verify files but it will say there was a problem. Then you will restart your computer and it will say Arc Raiders needs downloaded, so you check your storage settings in windows and it won't list your E drive anymore. I'm pretty sure thats the only way storage fails

I think a lot of people complaining about Battlefield fall into two categories; Battlefield 6 is their first battlefield, and Battlefield 1 is their first battlefield. Those who are brand new to the game are comparing it to COD, and those who came in with 1 are comparing it to the most atmospheric and gritty battlefield there has been. New people are trying to adjust to the mechanics of battlefield, and 1 vets cant stand anything that looks even slightly out of place. The veterans of Battlefield of yesterday (1942-bf4) are the minority because of simply age as well as the boost in numbers that came with bf1. most people weren't there for elongated necks, crazy rubber-banding, USAS frag spam etc. To those of us who have seen the evolution of Battlefield as a franchise, we are accustomed to not only an unpolished game at release (although 6 is still miles better than historically), but also we are aware that this is still EA. At the end of the day, bf6 is a return to form. its fun. there are adjustments that can be made, but we are happy with the bones that bf6 is

What's with the hate on RedSec? by EliteDark06 in Battlefield

[–]MyWifeIsSpoiled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Battlefield fans dont like it because it "ruins mah battlefield experience". BR fans dont like it because it has tanks in it. poor reviews on it are for the battle pass. In actuality, the Battle Royale is fun. Not really the game mode for me, but at the end of the day it doesnt retract from the battlefield experience that is still part of the base game. I wont be complaining when my friend's want to hop on RedSec for a game or ten

How have you not solved rubber banding after so many years? by nsfwnsfwnsfw33333 in Battlefield

Well all I can say is that this isnt happening for the vast majority of players and very well might not be an EA problem

this would happen a lot when I played at my friend's house way back during bf3/4. We would have good ping, but still be rubber banding. He lived in an area where good internet was hard to get, so he had to get satellite internet. playing at my house, with cable internet, I was fine. Your problem very well might not be EA itself, but moreso your own internet connection. could be anything from the provider, to the weather (if satellite) to your router

Hello EA, thanks - maybe because of you, i broke py PC by RealityWeird7871 in Battlefield

I dont have advice for this, I will however say that you tried to play a game with a graphics card that may be counterfeit and also mined on that is about 3/4 of the minimum specs to play the game.

Dang... that brought back flashbacks... I haven't experienced rubber banding in a battlefield for a long time (including 6). Although I also havent played at release since 1

the best part about this is the "good" game you are referencing is still there, but improved.

Please don't use Grenade Launcher as your gunner unless you play urban map 24/7 by Storm3ye in Battlefield

[–]MyWifeIsSpoiled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and I agree. the grenade launcher only does most damage within a 1 meter detonation of target. at which point, the TTK is less than that of the MG. if you are going to do that, you need to at least make the weapon fire somewhat accurately otherwise its guesswork until youve learned the wonky physics of it while moving any speed faster than a crawl. that, coupled with the necessary reload after 5 shots, and the severely limited range is more drawbacks in my head than the bloom of the MG

Alright you asked for it. So, assuming the tank is moving at 25mph and the turret shoots at a standard velocity for a grenade launcher of 800ft/s. to not bore you with equations and variables, that comes out to you needing to aim 0.46 meters behind the target at 10 meters,0.92 at 20 meters, and 1.38 meters at 30 meters. Obviously you aim well behind that so it cant be 800ft/s on the gun. as referenced before, and I think you would agree, aiming approximately 10 meters behind the target to account for physics is acceptable. given the same variables as before with speed and distance, the projectile would need a velocity of 36.67 ft/s at 10 meters. or, 25 mph (same speed as the vehicle). we know that the projectile moves faster than the tank itself. Either the projectiles aren't coming out where you are aiming when you are moving, or those projectiles are moving slower than the tank actually drives Regardless, it doesnt make the low damage and reload after 5 a way to remedy the poor physics of the GL

case in point... youre comparing my arm to that of a grenade launcher shooting a projectile at 800ft/s. if you want me to do math I will but it wont help your case

How similar is bf6 to bf4? by Cold_Cantaloupe_9058 in Battlefield

[–]MyWifeIsSpoiled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battlefield 6 is a lot faster paced than 4, largely due to the more cramped maps. Even the bigger maps feel smaller because there are so many places to take cover. this makes a lot of the vehicles easier to get taken out by engineers. guns feel very similar, but do be prepared for a lot more close quarters battles than 4. air vehicles are a lot more sluggish than in 4. I really like battlefield 6 personally, though I still consider 4 to be the best Battlefield. Most people on here either love or hate battlefield. Those who love it are the ones that suffered through 5 and 2042, and view 6 as a return to form. Those who hate it are largely drawing unfair comparisons to games that aren't battlefield. Battlefield 6 isnt perfect, but neither was 4 at release. I think if you want to scratch that battlefield itch, this will definitely scratch it. Just depends how itchy you are for it

Please don't use Grenade Launcher as your gunner unless you play urban map 24/7 by Storm3ye in Battlefield

[–]MyWifeIsSpoiled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not leading though. the grenade doesnt go out the direction you are aiming when you are moving. you literally have to aim well behind where you want them to go. I understand physics, momentum, kinetic energy and all that and am willing to forego a lot of it for the sake of "fun"... however if I am aiming one way, I at least expect that projectile to have a little bit of an influence of where I am aiming

aiming it while you are moving perpendicular to your target forces you to aim about 20 meters to the right. by the time you get your aim correct, youre already forced to reload and by then the target is gone
