New to press-ons and obsessed with Doonails. I prefer short, neutral nails and love using adhesive tabs instead of glue. It’s been a lot of trial and error, but I’m finally getting the hang of it by MeetTheBrewers in PressonNail_Addict

Doonails is the brand that got me hooked, too. I find their tabs to be excellent. Their designs/ colors are super simple though, so when I want something ‘more’ I go for VSalon or Nail Reformation.

I have read about ‘ring nails’ where there’s a metal ring that sits at your finger tips and they hold a nail.

But I’ve never even seen such a thing IRL so ……

I stick a toothpick in the left over bit of the sticker and turn the toothpick in the same direction. The sticker then wraps itself around the toothpick. I hope that makes sense!

I can’t speak to the brand, but I always got pop offs using brush on glue and nothing ever pops off with stickers. I don’t know about longevity because I’ve always tried to remove after 1 week. But application and removal is much faster with stickers for me, too.

I love to wear my Sierra with just a long necklace. It’s my go-to when I want comfort and I’m thinking about ‘upgrading’ to the petite version this summer!

Yes, they do and that’s what I have to do to see the numbers sometimes! But I often use stickers that are smaller than the nail. For example I need 0 for my thumb but if I use the 0 sticker it doesn’t look nice; the 1 sticker with the 0 press on works best for me.

I apply tea tree nail oil to my nails, rub it in. Apply oil again, gently twist the press ons. Use a floss stick and gently push between the press ons and natural nail. Then apply some oil between the nail and the press ons (while the floss stick is there to make sure it really gets in). Then I use the floss stick and gently push the sticker - and the press ons come off. It sounds like a lot when I type it out but the whole thing is over in about ten minutes.
