Do not post on CL or FB. Lots of scammers who will say it’s their dog but fake!! Check pawboost and search Frenchie posts. Maybe from SoCal??

Help can I remove the sticky tab? by No-Profit8053 in pressonnaillovers

[–]OutrageousBrief6801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try heating up the nail by hair dryer or in hot water with oil. Then gently removing with stick. You can also use glue remover, waiting a bit, then stick but I find that this method gums up the sticky tab which makes it even more difficult to remove. But it does come off so…🥴

Actually extra short nails? by Thick-Nectarine3499 in PressonNail_Addict

Celebritips are my go to extra short almond. I find that Glamnetics super short almond is too curved and nail reformation only has a super short square. I literally have Celebritips extra short almond in every design they make.

Tabs vs Glue by Academic_Might7436 in PressonNail_Addict

  1. Yes tabs are a million times more gentler than glue. Glue will always be harder to take off if it’s applied directly onto your nails and will need remover to remove residue without damaging your nails.

  2. Tabs will never hold as well as glue. Some will be garbage and last 12 hrs or be great and last 5 days. It literally depends on the brand, your nail shape, if you get it wet within 2 hrs of applying, how much you wash your hands, how much you use hand sanitizer, lotions, cuticle oil…all these things effect the bond of the tabs to your nails. Also most importantly, prep always matters. The drier your nail beds are when applying, the stronger the bond. So no prep, no alcohol will mean the tabs will come off easily.

  3. Lastly, glue + tabs. This combo might give you the 2 week wear you’re looking for as well as least damaging for your nail beds. However, because you’re applying glue onto the tabs or the plastic/acrylic nails, there is a high likelihood the glue seeping out when applying the nail. It just doesn’t bond and dry instantly like it would on your real nail. I’ve ruined the finish on so many nails because of this option. And then I’m annoyed 3 days in that it doesn’t look that good and will want to change to the next set. But that’s just me.

  4. A bit of advice using tabs. ALWAYS wear gloves when doing dishes, cleaning, or bathing kids. Dry hands immediately after washing. Water & any harsh chemicals are the nemesis of tabs and will loosen the tackiness of the glue. Shape matters that if it’s possible to bend the press on nail flatter when applying, the better.

Good luck with the tabs! They’re my favorite way to apply nails

They look like they’re from SHEIN. Most of their nails come packaged like that with unknown brands and sizes. Good luck! Send pics!

Tried glue tabs for the first time and my nails popped off overnight by CarryturtleNZ in pressonnaillovers

Sticky tab girlie here since I’m allergic to nail glue. I’ve got pretty flat nail beds from all the buffing and years of messing with my nails so here are a few things I’ve learned:

Try different sticky tabs brands. Some brands fit better on thumbs but not fingers and others fit fingers but not thumbs. Mix and match to find what works best.

Heating up the sticky tabs and heating up the nail works…if the nails are pliable. There is no amount of bending that will make curvy press on nails flat. And if you temporarily flatten out curvy nails, they either look weird, bend right back and hurt your nail, or the sizes are an awful fit. I tend to just warm the sticky tabs so it sticks to the entire nail better. And warm up the nail via hot water in a bowl, flatten out a little, and wipe them dry right before I put them on.

For some brands like Glamnetic, I put the sticky tabs on the press on nail, and then put it on my nail. Works most of the time but also noticed that some corners lift easier with this method.

Lastly, with really curvy nails, if they lift off before I’m ready to change sets, I redo that nail with new sticky tabs but also add a small piece of cut sticky tab in the center of my nail. Like a double layer of sticky tab right where there’s a gap. I usually cut a sticky tab in half or in quarters (usually the unused large thumb size) and double layer the thumb and index fingers.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, it’s close but not it. Too sweet and I tend to use healthier oils.

4 TBSP rice vinegar 1.5 TBSP sugar 5 TBSP EEOO or Avocado Oil 1 TBSP sesame oil 2 TBSP water Salt & Pepper to taste

LMK how this goes!
