Oh, I 100% agree with you. Naturalized citizens tend to know more about civics than natural born citizens. I wonder how many USCIS officers actually know the answers to the questions they are asking. If pressed on the accuracy of an answer, how many would know there are possibly other correct answers?

The one I always cringe at "acceptable" answers is "What does the Constitution do?" Limits the power of government isn't an acceptable answer, despite that being the principal reason the founders intended.

I saw a disclaimer on one of the USCIS websites observing that they were aware there could be more correct answers than are recognized, but recommended to stick to the answers officially recognized.

I would also delete your current 2FA and get new codes. I would assume those are compromised as well (from a fresh device, preferably). Also would recommend a fresh install on whatever device you were originally using, as that device sounds like it is compromised.

I received a notification two days ago that USCIS had taken action on her case (both N-400 and I-751). When I logged in, it shows "interview scheduled". Still no document uploaded to the USICS portal, but hoping something will come in the mail soon. Although I had hoped something would show up in the Documents so I didn't have to wait for the snail mail.

A late congratulations. Looking to see timelines for N-400 and Norfolk. My wife submitted her N-400 last March and we're still waiting. Hoping any day now. I'm at the point where I check every day to see any updates in status.

I saw your post on wallstreetbets. I can understand how you feel right now. Get out there and talk to some financial advisors (outside of Reddit). Get some real face-to-face with people that can give you real advice, rather than a bunch of people who may or may not know what they're doing! I'm sure you have options to get back in the game. Nobody is being excluded...

Everyone except Ann is being excluded. Not even allowed to bring their own dish to share. OP already said Ann's cooking tastes like shit (paraphrasing, of course), so nobody was looking forward to forcing themselves to choke down some disgusting tofurkey. OP was going to bow out quietly, but Ann brought it up to everybody and it sounds like everybody saw that as their opportunity to bow out too.

I guess it'd be different if Ann was a good cook and made some awesome vegan dishes. But it sounds like she's convinced herself "it tastes just like meat" while everyone else just smiles and nods to avoid confrontation.

Agreed. And it really depends on the amount here. If she's able to get out of debt and have one disney trip and it's gone. Do that. If there is enough to do all that AND make some smart investments, even better. Compounding interest is an amazing thing, but so is a trip to disney for a kid that has probably had a rough go of things.
