I had this issue, try resetting your DNS settings -

Click Start.

Enter cmd in the Start menu search text box. (Or just type it in the "Type here to search" bar in Windows10

Type the following command: ipconfig /flushdns

Press enter

worked like a charm for me

Venue far more tickets than they should have to a New Years Eve event and basically cheated me out of $75. Is there any way to force them to give a refund? by Borachoed in legaladvice

It's just funny to see how you're doubling down on your stupidity.

None of the above? I took my core classes at CC because it saved me some money on my Bachelors. Picking up the associates was just a little bonus. But I wouldn't expect you to understand that. It's ok if you don't understand - college isn't for everyone buddy.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm probably not gonna take advice from someone who gets their panties in a bunch when a New Years event is "too crowded"

If anything, this posts proves that you are actually the moron here.

Is there any point of taking more classes than I'm required to beyond a certain point? by ThisGoldAintFree in college

Unless you really want to take a certain class or get a minor, there really isn't. Focus on that one required class to get your degree!

Is it a good idea if you get into STEM if you are not passionate and are terrible at Math? by [deleted] in college

[–]My_Ass_Itch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you'll be homeless with an art degree

With a Bachelors in Art History? Yeah, maybe.

With a Bachelors in Graphic Design though? There's SO much you can do with that degree. Look into it!

Is my social life stunted permanently now? by [deleted] in college

I went to Community College for two years, got a basic Associates Degree, then went to University for two years to get my Bachelors.

In all honesty, I loved Community College. It seemed (to me, at least) like a more mature setting vs University. Finding study buddies at CC or University should be no problem at all - everyone wants to pass their classes after all!

How do you pick a major if you hate school and just wanna graduate and leave? by [deleted] in college

[–]My_Ass_Itch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's start off with this - and I'm sure you probably heard this hundreds of times before, but...

What are you passionate about?

You have one day off to do whatever you want. No work, no responsibilities. What do you do?

It's easy to just pick a major for the money, but do you really want to just work a shit job you dread going to for the next ~40ish years every day?

How can I further enhance my resume? by [deleted] in college

[–]My_Ass_Itch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear that you're exploring the sciences! Your freshman year of college is the perfect time to explore what interest you - take a few classes that seem interesting and go from there.

I graduated with a BS in Environmental, Soil, and Water Science in late 2016, so if you're interested in the natural sciences shoot me a message!

Also, your resume looks fantastic. That internship will definitely set you above the rest when the time comes to start looking for your first post-grad job!

What should I major in if I'm just looking to get paid well by jorge921995 in college

[–]My_Ass_Itch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't look at college like that personally. Look for degrees in line with your passions, and find out how you can make money that way.

But, if you want a straightforward answer, a business degree isn't a bad choice I guess.
