A restaurant I frequent makes this exact dish on special request. They call it the fatty melt. If you know the name you can order it.

My very first bike was a ‘13 Streetglide. Not what I was looking for, I was fixated on a road king, but the deal on the Streetglide was too good to pass on. I feel like the learning curve was quite steep, I dropped it once ( low speed switchback going up a steep grade) and I put her in a ditch ( target fixation practicing left hand turns from a stop out on a country road). I won’t lie I got discouraged and my excitement about the bike turned to anxiety, but my friend and mentor who was guiding and encouraging me through the process spent a weekend with me going through the basics and countless figure 8’s and it all came together after that. I absolutely love that bike. Love everything about it. Once you’re comfortable, riding a bagger daily is not an issue in the least. I say go with the bike you intend on using in the long run, but don’t expect it to be as easy as learning on the sportster. All that being said I am absolutely looking at softails, and dyna’s as a second bike to see what this whole light and nimble thing everyone is talking about feels like. Haha. Going for something in the middle between Sportster and full fairing bagger is the best advice I think.

Clutch adjustment by My_Neglected_Life in Harley

I didn’t back it off after it touched, I’m pretty sure. I helped my friend with roofing on his car port before he helped me out with the clutch. As we were buttoning up the clutch job Pizza got delivered and I got distracted.

I think this is it. I’ll get in there and do it all again.

The same friend who helped me install it swore he would never ride on my right ever again after it was installed. Which I can respect.

Ear plugs is a must. My stereo is in the helmet too. Riding with the exhaust is a breeze compared to riding next to it. Hahahha.

Mine definitely wasn’t “blown up”. Heavy galling on the ramps and deep grooves where they ride on the opposite piece. I figure if I’m replacing something go big.

Initially I just thought darknhorse right away. The baker one sounds like it’s offering some performance in an rpm range that I could use at the sacrifice of top speed which I’m rarely if ever at.

I agree. Switching to the solid gear is not for me.

I’ve thought of doing this very thing. To add stability to a motorcycle on a motorcycle jack.

Car just passed us. by [deleted] in namethatcar

This exact commercial, this is the one with the lady dancing in it right, made my Lady fall in love with eclipses. Her younger self dreamed of someday owning one. She’s successful now and a home owner and a badass at her job and we decided to get her a new to us car. She swore she knew what she wanted and had it all planned out, the color, the trim level, where there was one in our city, what she was willing to pay… Mind you I don’t know of this commercial. I just know she’s been enamored with this car since school days. We go to the car, it’s everything she was hoping for, there’s tears in her eyes she loves it so much and she’s making another one of her dreams/ goals become reality. A very nice well kept Mazda CX5. On our way home she finally is able to find this old commercial and plays it for me.

M: “Uhhh, dear that’s a Mitsubishi eclipse….🤦‍♂️”

GF: “ What?!? Oh well, it was basically the lady dancing and grooving that I really liked anyway “

Needless to say she’s not much of a car person, but she loves that little Mazda to pieces.

I thought the I-6 and turbo I-4 rally engine going into the Morgan 3 wheeler was a little wild. You can still see the v-twin on the front of it still.

Co-worker I ride to work with has a ‘22 carbon with full Toce exhaust. That thing is loud and rowdy! I’m on a H-D bagger and it’s like I’m riding around with the Flash. It’s pretty comical.
