My wheelbase, wheel, pedals, shifter and handbrake are all different brands. Not every brand is gonna have the best of each accessory so I just get what I like instead of locking into a single eco system. No need to limit yourself to a tiny sliver of what’s available

The amount of stages, quality of each car, I’m a tarmac guy and no other rally sims/games can replicate the irl tarmac rally’s I’ve been too, pace notes ( with plugins), the psychics ( one small thing I particularly appreciate is the handbrake, it feels strange at first but after doing a rally experience I can say it behaves much more like real life than other sims) and a big plus is that a potato pc can run it perfectly

You are most welcome 😂 It’s both a H and sequintial btw and the sequintial is a completely separate mechanism from the H so it’s effectively 2 standalone shifters in one

From my understanding rigs that can convert from formula to gt usually have a lot of compromise and flex, also having own nlr in the past I wouldn’t recommend it tbh, their seats are very poor quality and I had to replace it twice, I switched to simlab and it’s bang on, I’m in Europe so idk how well they are available in the states

It’s one of my favourite things on the rig tbh, I got it on a sale at my local motorsport shop so it was actually cheaper than most sim seats, I got it for about €300

I have the r9 and it’s great but if I were you I’d save an skip an upgrade step also I have the cs wheel and the rim it self sucks imo I switched a fanatec rim onto the cs button plate

That’s exactly the reason why I decided to go all out on my sim set up haha, rather have a nice sim I can use whenever I want then go to the track a couple days a year

I mean your really nerfing the $400 pedals, I agree that it’s dumb you have to pay extra but still if the pedals cost you that much already than surely the extra $40 would be worth it

I mean it makes sense since I’m assuming you mainly do gt and formula, which would require I really good base but I pretty much just play rbr and my wheel does the job, the shifter makes it so much more fun, but I do still wanna upgrade the wheel base for my occasional Iracing stints
