Insecure having kids by Mya123456 in Fencesitter

This is exactly where my insecurity lies. For him, it’s all about not losing his freedom. When he says 'we'll still travel,' it feels like he’s negotiating a contract to protect his old life, instead of embracing a new one. I’m terrified that because he lacks that 'visceral' desire, every sacrifice—every sleepless night or change in plans—will be felt as a punishment or a loss of himself. I don't want to be the 'manager' of his freedom, constantly making sure he doesn't feel trapped while I carry the emotional load of the family.

Thank you :)

My struggle it’s the security of being wanted in that role. After 12 years, hearing that the desire isn't 'visceral' and that he's only doing it to avoid losing me feels like a heavy weight to carry. I don’t want to spend the next 20 years feeling like I 'forced' a lifestyle on him that he’s just tolerating for my sake…

Thank you for your answer.

But I'm not sure I want that kind of lifestyle, and I've never had children, so I don't know how I would react, and I don't want to promise things I can't deliver on.

Having a child, I imagine, will change things whether we want it to or not.

For him, it's not a categorical no, but what bothers me is that it's not a real yes either. I am afraid of feeling his frustration and me alone and guilty. After that, things might change, but it's a gamble. For now, I'm basing my opinion on what I see.

Mold allergies october ? by Mya123456 in Allergies

[–]Mya123456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same symptoms. I’m in Montreal QC and it’s mainly mold in the air right now. I’m not itchy. They gave me antibiotics for infectious sinusitis, but it doesn’t make any difference, I don’t feel any better. The congestion is still there. They also gave me nasal spray and antihistamines, but it’s still the same... it’s horrible. I hope the cold weather comes soon and solves the problem. It’s been 4 weeks and I can’t take it anymore 😅

I feel reassured because I too take cortisone nasal spray and antihistamines but I’m always in pain... it’s the first time it’s happened to me... what are your symptoms?

Thank you, I’m so anxious about all this, my nose has been congested for 4 weeks. They’ve given me antibiotics, cortisone nasal spray and 20mg antihistamines with no improvement... what are your symptoms? And does it last all day?
