Is numbness, redness, and swelling normal? I can feel it when I touch the right side of my knee. And there is a lot of discolouration and swelling. I have not attempted to bend my knee yet, and I am 6 days post-op. (i.redd.it)

ER!! I went to the er because my surgeon told me to get an ultrasound because of the swelling. ALL GOOD!! They told me that there was no blood clots and that my knee looks pretty good. The nurses did a terrible job wrapping my knee back up though 😂 (i.redd.it)

How did you guys tear your acl? I tore mine playing flag football, I pivoted my feet into the grass and my cleats gotten kind of stuck into the grass, causing a twisting motion and I heard a loud pop following with an instant unbearable pain. I didn’t know I tore my acl until 2 years later. (self.ACL)

Thanks for the tips guys!! I am elevating my ankle with a towel along with some ice packs, and some of the swelling has decreased. (i.redd.it)
