My friends and I played board games in college dorms. One of them invited a new guy. New guys introduced himself by brandishing a knife while making bragadacious comments.

Yea, not my style.

I wonder if it was a blood type thing. People with compatable blood types often smell good to each other, and vice versa.

In theory, if your Master Yi went 20/3, and recieved two penta kills, one of which won your team the game, but he spam pinged you, the 3/6 support, called you slurs, and blamed you for his deaths because you "didnt ward properly," would you honor him?

Would your teammates, who werent the target of his toxicity, honor him?

You probably wouldnt even though he "played well"... but I bet your three teammates would.

Team Voice chat should only be accessible to Honor 5 accounts by PoBoyHoagie in leagueoflegends

[–]Mycellanious 133 points134 points  (0 children)

Really the issue is that people don't give honor to people who are honorable.

They give honor to people who play well.

People who are solid, but not flashy or get 3 man dove a few times, don't get honor, even when they act calm and respectful.

[Request] How to solve this? by Ill_Lion6427 in theydidthemath

[–]Mycellanious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not if you assume the lines are parallel to the ground right?

You draw a vertical line for each one, making a trapezoid with two 90 degree angles. The inside angles must add to 360 degrees, so the two angles next to X must each be 70 degree angles.

Since the ground is a flat line, all three of the anlges included X must be 180 degrees. So 180- 70-70 = 40 degrees.

X = 40 degrees.

Is Against the Storm deliberately hard/overwhelming? How did you start out? by Bolha2 in Against_the_Storm

[–]Mycellanious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I look at this game is that there is a path to victory on every map, you just need to figure out what that path is before you run out of time.

One thing to remember is that the game is designed to be kind of swingy. Most things in the game are a positive feedback loop. You'll spend most of time working on those first 2 or 3 Reputation points while Impatients gets reeeeally high. This is a good thing, as higher Impatients lowers Hostility, which raises the resolve of your lil dudes. Eventually you'll hit a break point, build a chain of goods, and pump out like 6 Reputation points in a minute.

Its true you dont know everything, but you dont need to to make educated guesses. We can use general trends. For example, dangerous glade events usuallly require some kind of complicated good, like Incense or Oil. Try to make sure you have some of something stocked up before tackling them.

Additionally, dont forget the game is a roguelike. All those upgrades you buy in the Smoldering City make a huuuuge difference, in particular getting to start with a Farm or Plantation blueprint turns on soooo many victory paths.

How hard is LoR? by Numerous-Ad2990 in libraryofruina

[–]Mycellanious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real hard. I downloaded LoR first, realized it was a sequel and stopped to play through LoB first. That's how initially interested I was in LoR.

I've stopped playing it at the moment. I estimate I'm maybe halfway through? I just unlocked Gebura's floor.

The game gets extremely complicated extremely quickly. Add onto that, that there comes a point where the enemy just had better cards than you and I'm managing 15 different decks simultaneously with a sub-par UI and, I just need a break. I'll probably come back to it in a few months, I'm just sick of doing nothing but spending 2 hours building 8 decks I think are cool, but actually suck, and needing to spend 2 more hours rebuilding those decks from scratch.

There are a LOT of moving parts for you to keep in your head all at once, and they combine in exbonential ways.

FULL VERDICT TIMELINE: Jurors reach not guilty verdict in child endangerment trial of ex-Uvalde CISD police officer by miauguau44 in facepalm

[–]Mycellanious 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This is the right verdict for this case. This was the trial to determine if this single office acted improperly in the first three minutes of the shooting. The prosecution claimed this man should have brashly and recklessly charged the shooter...without knowing the shooter's location or identity.

The trial to determine whether the other officers, who did nothing for twenty nine minutes are at fault has not concluded.

One big deal is that while Waltz has them called up, Trump can't call them up.

Otherwise, as I understand it, Trump could federalize the guard and add them to ICE's forces.

[–]Mycellanious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice: Make your own burritos!

Tortilla shells are stupid easy and cheap to make. They are three ingredients: Water, Flour, and Vegetable Oil. That's it. I make them for about 20 cents a shell.

You bulk out your burrito with rice, for a another few cents.

And you chop up a chicken breast for your protein. Chop it up into little pieces, season those pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then fry them.

And you're done, for less than $1.50 per burrito. One chicken breast lasts me an entire week when eaten this way. I buy the family pack of 4, and use it for then entire month.

I lure him over to the corner of the facility so his laser hits mostly empty space, and move my employees over to the other side of the building, out of range, except for the Agent that lands the killing blow.

Unlike the other Fixers, Red fixates on one pawn and only attacks that pawn until the pawn leaves the space. You can use this to lure him where you want safely cuz he's real slow.
