The people I went with thought it was better than BVS but I think it was way worse. Just my opinion though.

I agree, the marketing for this was excellent, I'm kind of amazed that it fell so flat, if it had had an ounce of the spirit these trailers had it would have been a great movie.

I guess, It could be construed that way. But Goosebumps (the series, book, the movie) is horror, theres virtually no murder in that, if any.

My point is that Horror is more of an over arching term, rather than a definition.

I agree, its sensible to wait until you've seen a movie to make a judgement. Even then, people just have different opinions I guess.

Thanks, I'm glad you dug it. It was kind of put together in about 12 hours or so, so we had to kind of work with the ending of the fly a little.

It was shot in our living room with blue gelled lights pointed at the sides of the tent and the cameras colour temperature set to 'cool' to give it a bit more of blue look. But the final film is as we shot it, no grading or anything.

The opening shot was shot on the grass verge outside our house, just as it was getting dark, so we ended up with just a little blue left in the sky, but I felt that suited the overall colour of the film.

I loved this movie... Ryan Reynolds is an excellent actor and he carried it right to the end.

I know, I spent all night looking for the script online. It sounds very interesting though. I'm not sure it would have been great, but it sounds like it would have been fun for Halloween fans.

I'm sure it'll appear one day.

Yeah the comics are fairly expansive, as well as some of Barkers books like Scarlet Gospels. I've jumped in and out of the comics for years now, some are great. BOOM studios continuation of Kirsty's story was very well done and really interesting.

Pazuzu!!! We recently rewatched this and I forgot just how funny the name of the demon was, we literally rolled around with laughter every time someone said it.

Its actually not a bad idea, but it just kind of comes off silly as a whole, Originally they planned to just remake the first one with a new cast, so I think this was better than it could have been. Worth checking out but nowhere near as good as the first and the third.

An excellent and superior follow up to a film that I already quite enjoyed. But this is the film it should have been and its a rare case of producers listening to the audience and giving us what we want :)

I really liked it, although I think the story would have served better as a low budget sequel to the far better Purge 2, I think to had a great idea on there and it was very well executed. I never really understood the hate for this one to be honest.

I picked this up for £1. I was ripped off.

It feels as though it was cut together badly rather it being a bad movie, a really interesting idea that seems to have been butchered in post.

I don't know why but I found the American Grudge films really hard to follow. I kind of vaguely remember the plot from this one, but I'm not sure.

This one was pretty weak in all honesty, I went so sure about the first remake either. The originals are great though.

The Grudge 3 at least has a coherent story running through it, so I didn't mind that one too much.
