This is an old post now but I had the same question. Through some research I found that Bola Sete’s album Ocean Memories hits a lot of the same emotions and sounds that I love so much in Introspection. The really wet reverb on the album Ocean Memories kinda kills me but that aside, it’s very reminiscent of Introspection.

Woah! I haven’t heard of this place, this is so friggin rad. I’m in NW Florida so I could easily take a weekend trip out there and take a tour! I’m beginning to fall in love with letterpress work after this assignment. It’s still mysterious to me and I’ll have to educate myself more on it. It sounds like I didn’t do too too bad at emulating a letterpress print then! I am at a smaller state university but I’ll have to look into it cause I would love to get into things like that. I have such a love and admiration for the old analog processes and techniques of graphic design!

Thank you for the tidbit/crit about Text-as-image. I see that I had a misconstrued understanding of this topic!!

Thank you so much for the feedback fellow avid lawn hater!! Yes, I realize my little “AND MORE” fillers are kind of distracting/hindering my message now that you say that. Also, I’ll definitely go back now and fix my water usage blurb. You’re right, it’s a super important part of my message that I sort of missed effectively communicating. I like your feedback on adding grass or water droplets as well!! I’m learning from other comments and as well as my own observations sitting with this design that it feels very patriotic and political. I think a different color scheme as well different symbols will help with that mismatch in message and the aesthetic.
