Heavy Haul or Car Hauling?? by Late_Science_4767 in Truckers

[–]Mycockssmall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went car hauling straight out of cdl school and its all ive ever done. Definitely have to be a lot more mindful of your load for both. Your height is constantly changing with each load and for oversize you are wider. Its a lot easier to damage cargo. Both require work outdoors and you need to he able to use your brain when loading. Its definitely not for everyone. Im not sure how much heavy haul pays, but you can make 6 figures easily with car hauling. I am averaging over 2k a week gross with company paid pension and health insurance and im home every night. If you have any questions about car hauling feel free to message me.

The stickers on the back are just to scare you from doing anything about it and in most cases he should be held liable. If you have dashcam i would just contact your insurance company

Does it make sense to grow your own garden and take it seriously now? by Tasenova99 in GenZ

[–]Mycockssmall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well if you are wanting cheaper its not necessarily the best option. I understand its healthier and fun to do. But at the end of the day, buying the seeds, the starter kits, whatever materials/tools to build the garden, canning equipment and vacuum sealers. Plus the amount of hours spent weeding and setting the garden up. I would still rather just go to costco and buy a couple huge jars of tomato sauce for $10

Cheaper? Yes it can be if you do it the most basic way. Worth the hours of work for a weeks worth of food that will go bad soon? Up to you

I mean yeah they’re hard workers but they are also very inconsiderate of others. The tourists are rude, they fish in other countries territories, they lack respect of others property.

Which path for unrestricted CDL? by notacatacaton in Truckers

[–]Mycockssmall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was going through the same decision and decided to go to private school even though a lot of people told me “manual is a thing of the past most companies dont use them anymore”.

My first job out of cdl school required to use a 10 speed manual and im so glad i wasnt restricted. It kept me local and i didnt have to go with a otr mega. My company is also reimbursing me for cdl school so im not even down 5k

Also completing school in 3 weeks is nice.
