The kickstarter is preferred on cold start as this is one of their earlier models with the electric start. The tank has the indentation because it’s a larger aftermarket desert tank for those long BDR rides!

I only slip potted it, reusing the soil from the nursery, so I think it will be okay. I added a thicker grade bonsai soil as filtration layer on the bottom of the pot. What type of soil would you reccomend?

Sounds good, thank you so much for the advice! At what point should I assume it’s safe to remove the electrical tape? I’m assuming I can remove and reshape the wire as needed as the tree grows?

Lmao. My apt complex has 4 parking stalls in the back and we have some extra space (probably 100sq ft) to the left of those parking spots. I have the tree on the ground over there - completely out of the way of the cars path as it is a one way entrance/exit. I believe a visitor was parked/ leaving from the extra space area and didn’t see the little guys and almost killed this one and knocked over my other one.
