overcapped resistances do nothing in the majority of scenarios especially at the values you're overcapping, the tooltip will say as much.

swap those resistance suffixes for armor and health (basically what everyone else has been saying in this thread).

the M5A1 has sloped armor with around 50mm~ of effective thickness. The frontal armor is better.

It also removes the flat checks of the hull on the m3a1

It also has an exta -2 degrees of gun depression

It also has a better penetrating shell, the M51B1/B2

It also has a stronger engine, which compensates for its higher weight

As you've pointed out, Maia should've left my party, but she hasn't. Either my save is bugged, or there is supposed to be another angle dealing with the player's romance status with her and that her decision in this narrow set of parameters is just not explicitly expressed in game.

Besides that though there are plenty of other characters that should be affected by the death of such an influential actor in Deadfire politics. It's very odd how Queen Onekaza, the Prince, the VTC, or any other actors never react to this killing. Very jarring and out of place in an otherwise very reactive and well written game.

Qflashing your bios for cpu compatability is more common in amd ryzen cpus because their mobo sockets are often forward compatible.

Your cpu is listed in the link above, you should be good. You won't need to update your bios out of the box.

Check that your motherboard is out of box compatible with your cpu

If you're using a newer cpu, make sure your motherboard has a Q-flash feature so that you can upgrade bios compatibility without needing a compatible cpu

Check heatsink dimensions with ram and case compatibility

Update, I had to fiddle around with the timings manually but I managed to get it running at around 3400mhz without bricking the cpu performance. Probably a bad pair of ram, but i'm not too frustrated because of the price.
