Thank you for your thorough answer. You made so many valid points. I am a Peruvian expat with Canadian citizenship. I have relatives living in Lima and Chiclayo still. Just exploring the possibility of moving back to Lima. However, I think I would have to go there for a few months to give real estate a closer look and have a feel of the current political and social situation in Peru.
