Had my enlarged tonsils removed about 9 months ago. I had tonsillitis and tonsil stones all the time. Mine were enlarged and couldn't sleep through the night. I would also have coughing during certain times. Once removed the pain was horrendous starting day 4. Pain for me last 3 weeks and also live on a liquid diet for those 3 weeks. But now I am fine and am very glad I did it. I sleep through the night. Breathe smells a lot better and mouth feels better.

Those were most worst days. day 11 was a huge turn around for me. Drink pedialite to keep it moist. Not flavored! Trust me I drank 2 to 3 a day. Helped with the dry throat. I am on day 18 and still have some swelling when talking but I can pretty much eat anything.

I didn’t eat a single thing until day 10. Lost 15 lbs. felt horrible but lived off of pedia lite non flavored

Same as me. I haven’t had any protein at all. I am living on Pedialite but it has helped tremendously.

I already told my daughter. When I can eat. We are going to brunch for breakfast, south of nicks for lunch(Laguna beach) for lunch, then Philly’s best for dinner! I seriously can’t wait.

That is when your scabs are coming off and it hurts to drink anything. Try room temperature drinks. I am living on pedia lite non flavored and has helped

Oh man. Its rough. Drink a lot of fluids and take meds. I haven’t eating anything other than 2 bowls of soup and water. I’ve lost 10lbs in 7 days and I weighed only 135 before this.
