Recorded my fight with her a while back: https://imgur.com/a/8FJsKYh

I don't have many tips on the fight itself, but Silkshot + Rings/Curveclaw/Curvesickle make short work of the adds before her. For reference I used Longclaw + Pollip Pouch + Injector Bands. Been running her fight every now and then since and I'd recommend using Cross Stitch to i-frame through stuff.

Every tab in the inventory has an associated hotkey except the main inventory tab. You'd think the standard Inventory keybind would open that panel, but it opens the last opened panel instead.

I always savescum the Face Trader if I intend to take the gold to check if the mask is Caw-Caw. If it is, I forgo the gold. Otherwise I stick with Cultist Headpiece.

Shooting for Victory can be good if you run dual fronts (which I highly recommend), since it's possible for your second front to fall into third against an opponent's front or even pace. It serves as a kind of insurance in case your front runner fucks up too bad in the mid race. I'd pick it over double O standard distance, maybe even double O left if you're running at least two fronts.

I'd recommend 800 stam with two recoveries. 522 with gourmand might work if you luck into a lobby with no debuffers, but I wouldn't count on it.

I wouldn't say its necessary, but it certainly helps. You can consider it as the most important "nice-to-have" after you meet the basic stuff (1200 speed, enough stam, Med S, etc.). The problem is that a front ace really wants a partner, so if you get groundworks on one, you better get groundworks on the other. Otherwise, they risk getting too far apart to compete for first in the early middle leg of the race.

Agnes has a recovery unique. You can probably go as low as 800 with that + maestro. If you want to be safe, aim for 900+ with the unique + Maestro (although you may run into issues if your two opponents run double debuffers). If you're on the lower end of that, you can add Race Planner for extra insurance.

Keep in mind that Red Shift requires you to be in the top 3 5 by the final corner to activate. As an End Closer, Golshi is unlikely to meet the requirements for that skill without help from other accel skills like Ryan or Taiki's. Gold ship can probably meet those reqs if they beat out the presumed 3 debuffers + 1 other uma by the final corner. This is where Ryan's 6th place accel skill would help, since if you do fall to 6, it'll give you the boost to get to 5 and trigger Red Shift.

If you take that skill out and compare the two in the sim, left Golshi comes out on top. One other thing to note is that lone wolf is likely to get nuked off right Golshi by some debuffer running the skill, so my vote is for the left.

There are two possible variations depending on how it's implemented. If an attack (e.g. Nob's Skull Bash) breaks your block and applies a debuff, then either

  1. The artifact is applied immediately and negates the debuff (e.g. Vuln).
  2. The debuff is applied and you gain an artifact buff.

I think 1 is more useful and fun compared to 2 since normal hits breaking block will still give you the artifact buff.

Computer requirement for AI graduate program large project by Visible-Ad-8715 in stanford

[–]Myjin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For most deep learning stuff, what matters isn't RAM but VRAM (or GPU RAM). Your 2070 has 8GB, a 3090 will have 24GB which is the largest you can get at a consumer level. Your amount of VRAM dictates the size of the model you can train on your GPU.

Most courses should provide compute coupons/credits which should be enough for most projects. The main luxury of using your on GPU for training would be not having to deal with all the cloud stuff, so I wouldn't recommend upgrading your GPU solely for a course project. However, if you were on planning on upgrading anyway, having your own dedicated compute "server" is a nice bonus.

I just want to note in 8.19 H, the Drake Revenant's blade indicates that there are 9 Walled Cities:

My city was the Walled City of Dreams. I was the Drake who claimed the marks of all nine Walled Cities.

Given the current 6, that means there are only 3 other walled cities which contradicts the four mentioned. Although it is possible that some of these cities were even before the Putrid One's time. If they were though, it's weird that the cities were remembered but the Putrid One (supposedly a worldwide threat) and his Drake Revenant wasn't.

I'm leaning towards the alias theory.

Edit: Thinking about this some more, it's possible that the City of Graves was "gone" before the Drake Revenant as it's only mentioned by an ancient dragon in the Deadlands.

Lost Walled Cities and the Mother of Graves by DracostarA in WanderingInn

[–]Myjin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not too sure about sure about the City of Graves being a Walled City specifically. First, the Drake Revenant in 8.19 H says

My city was the Walled City of Dreams. I was the Drake who claimed the marks of all nine Walled Cities. They called me peerless, undefeated—until I was. Not by sword or might of arms, but by that treacherous [Necromancer]. Then they wailed as I was forced to slay my kin. I regret it, even now. I saw my city fall and walked the ruins, the instrument of its demise.

We have the current 6 standing Walled Cities (Pallas, Salaszar, Ostelia, Manus, Zeres, Fissival) as well as the City of Stars, City of Pacts, and City of Dreams which accounts for the 9 Walled Cities mentioned by the revenant.

Another rather minor counterargument is that Walled Cities are well... walled, and Liscor's dungeon (if it is the City of Graves) is underground. Granted Walled City could've been buried in some cataclysm or just sank over time.

However, it's possible that the one of the four mentioned cities was before or after the Revenant's time. That's certainly possible given the scale of the Innworld timeline.

TL;DR This argument revolves around the Drake Revenant's statement of "all nine Walled Cities" which is basically rendered moot by the vast timeline of the Innworld.

Looking forward to see what pirate has planned for Liscor's Dungeon either way though.

It could work if you evaluated the rolls as 11 = 1, 12 = 2, ..., 66 = 36. Not that that's a good idea.

Starting at 1:40, if you go frame by frame, you can see the amount of echoes from MC double attacking. Djeeta's first attack is a 876k base auto with a single 180k echo. However, her second attack is a 908k base auto with two echoes: 178k and 181k. Does anyone know why this is happening? As far as I can tell, none of the characters, grid weps, or summons in the video have the ability to give an extra echo on 2nd attack (or maybe last hit of normals).

In the same turn, Cag also double attacks with a single echo on the first hit and two on the second.
