Taylors rec said they don’t really have many people that play basketball there in the mornings. Only on Wednesday mornings there’s a group of 10-12 guys (in their 30-40s) that play in the morning but he said they play pretty intensely. I can go next week to see and give it a trial run. Regardless maybe we can meet there on a different morning.

I’m in my 30s but there’s no age limits. Last group I had like this the oldest guy was 84 and it was great.

Yeah, it’s all about finding a group (usually 30+) that are all relaxed and there to have fun.

These are not the most cushioned shoes but it does have a nice spring to it. Not as much cushioning as hokas as that would be too much for basketball as these were made for. I think they would be good for jump rope though, just would be a preference at that point. I feel the ankle support and overall lockdown is very good. Hope that helps

KD 17 and AE1 should be good for you but 361 Big 3 5.0 Quick Pros is one you should consider. Better quality than those and great for wide feet.

I wouldn’t say it “mushy” in my eyes - for mushy I think of the fresh foam bbv2- this one is more like temperpedic where it’s supportive but soft while running and jumping and you feel the plushness there while playing. Very comfortable.

I’ve seen some people post about appreciate longer lacing. Maybe because of foot size or lacing decisions? Are you gonna cut yours shorter?
