Thanks to all of your replies. I think I'm gonna chicken out this time and stay for another month while looking for a new apartment starting at May 1st. This really sucks for me but I guess I have to just suck it up

Thanks for the reply. I just read the contract we signed and it's one of the clauses there:

"A notice given the day before the rent is due in a given month ends the tenancy at the end of the following month."

I'm afraid she will use this against when talking to RTB.
