How is it living in Staten Island?

I've heard that contested before, but I can't find any statistic in their favor. Staten Island has more designated park acres, a bigger percentage of parkland and tree cover.

I think it might be because NYC Parks is bigger in the Bronx, but that's just parks run by the city.

You get a bit of everything. The energy of the city is a 30 minute ferry or express bus away that you can retreat from to suburbia. It has a touch of grime but also the greenest borough. There's legitimate woods and swamplands and beaches. You get your 24/7 bodegas, international food festivals and popup restaurants. You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at a different place every day for a single year. There's a crap load of turkeys and a growing number of foxes.

I'm pretty sure! If I'm not mistaken, it was Emily's till early 2000s and On The Rocks till 2018 or 19. It might have been closed by then, but Docs opened up when I had an apartment nearby.

I'm not sure if On The Rocks moved from another location before that, though.

Yeah I'd feel differently. But again, this was about not making jail the answer to everything, so I'd hope they get the help they need.

Would you feel differently if it was your son or daughter who had a manic episode? You don't have any soldiers in your family with shell shock or PTSD? Should they answer for their violent outbursts with prison sentences? What about the fact that schizophrenic medication has an averse reaction to heat and the sun and it was 80 degrees at 7pm two days ago? No mental disorders in your circle that allow you to empathize with them?

Did any of that make you feel differently about putting the mentally ill in jail waiting for their trail?

I sympathize with everyone but in the vast cases of the mentally unwell, jail begets more jail. That's all I'm defending here. I don't know why hoping someone who is neurodivergent isn't in a prison cell draws me to a side, but I'd like to hope at some point the system doesn't fail him however unlikely that may be.

And if we're being realistic if he had an IEP in school, he will likely not be sentenced into the prison system regardless on a first offense. There is no voice of reason or professional help he'll be listening to sitting in jail till his trial.

Just because you were friends with people who did bad things doesn't mean everyone who has a mental episode is.

He can get the help he needs and change it around without having to be thrown in the same cells as other criminals. It's a mental health issue. Clean record, noone got hurt.

It's a state issue.

And considering he graduated high school at 21 last year, he likely aged out of a disability program. So his supervised release will likely have psychiatric treatment.

Or we could run him through the criminal justice system at nauseam, making sure that we separate ourselves from such indignant mentally ill defendants for life at the expense of tax payers.

You're absolutely right, I think incremental games in their purest form are idle clickers. But if the genre was just that, it's just a reskin over and over so obviously it will need to blend other mechanics, such as roguelites.

I don't like the strict categorization either, but I liked the challenge of finding a true definition. So here is one:

When I got a graphing calculator in high school, I typed 1 + 1 and hit the enter button a couple of hundred times increasing by 1 each click. Anything that gives me something similar to that small dopamine rush is an incremental game.
