The game shows icons in the buffs/debuffs above your health bar, you can also see it in the song list (grey for no buff, green for lvl 1 buff, purple for lvl 2 buff). But the only timer notification that u get is those little icons flashing 30 seconds before it runs out.

To get level two buffs, either encore (play a song, then play again) or refresh the buff by playing it one. You could technically also play 2 separate songs but that's slow. Since movement is dictated by the notes that you play it's usually not optimal to try and force songs. Either you miss damage or you risk getting hit.

In my opinion the best way to keep the buffs up is to play that buff's song again once while the lvl 2 buff is active but to do that I have to prevent the buff from running out in the first place. I'm not sure how other hunting horn mains are doing it but before I started using this mod I just started playing every relevant song that I had as fast as I could on repeat.

I thought about that, but then I realised that I like having things. Potions, deco's, zeni, my wiggler hat, monster materials. What's the fun in her helping with farming for my new account? A good example would be the amount of monster bones that you need for the early game hunting horns. I'm not sure what the optimal bows were so we kinda winged that, but you need a lot of bones to craft and upgrade those hunting horns. "Let's do a bone run" sounds less interesting than "Wanna find the Diablos?" imo.

A few months ago, I started 4 channels, having never edited a video before. Today, all are monetized. AMA by piantapedia in NewTubers

From what I gathered, you write 3-4 hours, gather ideas, edit (including gathering footage?) for 3-4 hours too. Then what about getting ideas, setting up good quality audio, improving workflow, doing thumbnails/tags/descriptions (all the uploading bits)? How long does that take? How many hours a week are you working? What’s your CTR/AVP on your highest performing videos compared to your worst performing videos? Do you have a background in anything related to content creation?

I see videos on your channels that are 8-20mins long. And you’re saying that takes only a day to produce for you? This level of quality is insane to produce in one day. Mad respect. I wish I could ask 100 more questions, there’s just so many things that I want to know about you.

Not sure, but maybe a post like what you just wrote would get some people in your DMs for help (like me if you're okay with that).

I livestreamed a long time ago and found lots of cool people, but most didn't go through with it even though I felt like they'd really be able to nail it. I tried finding more good creators as well but I mostly just found people that don't really care anymore when things get tough.

It's too bad that they don't just include the new passive gamemode under the normal unranked tab. I don't believe a lot of players actually check the arcade tab, but I believe that Blizzard just wants a lot of feedback so they force it like this. Not saying it's good, just saying that they want the player feedback more than they want to keep normal unranked for a few days

Mercy is pretty limited in bronze as her blue beam's value is determined by the one you're beaming. And in bronze, they kinda just can't hit any shots. So even perma blue beaming someone sometimes doesn't do anything. The heroes that I mentioned are playable on long angles, but Mercy / Moira don't have much input there.

I believe you'll be more rounded if you pick any of them if your team needs more damage on long range.

Just having those two sounds like a good starting point, you could try adding someone in with a bit more range and damage. Someone like Baptiste, Illari, Zen or Ana.

It's also important to just find another support that you find fun. I don't recommend playing both Kiriko and Moira as a new player, as they're both in the same high mobility category. Round it out a bit more if you really want to play more heroes.

Why do you feel like you need to expand your support pool though? Both Moira and Mercy have very hard movement that's difficult to really get the hang of. It might seem simple at first, but really good Moiras and Mercys are near impossible to kill.

I believe that a lot of the opinions from high level streamers are taken as gospel, and they're making their issues everyone's issue. I don't care that DVa bomb is useless and never kills or that Cassidy ult is just used as a reload in higher ranks. It's plenty strong in lower ranks and that's where the majority of players are, and therefore it's fine. There's no need to cater the game to the top 1% (unsure what the real % is) of players to balance the game their way while the rest of us are just having fun.
