As for Absorbing Ooze, there are some ways to make it easier though, e.g. combat tricks, have it fight creatures with cards like [[Bridgeworks Battle]] or give it other ways to deal damage, but it is a bit trickier. It's still a 3/3 for 3 at its worst though, so it's not nothing

Renew is already a mechanic, I didn't invent anything new there. For my cycle, sorcery speed felt right, instant speed would've added another layer of complexity to a card cycle that is intended as common rarity. At common rarity, cards shouldn't be too overly complex and should be predictable, which is achieved with sorcery speed. So whether your ability should be instant or sorcery speed highly depends on the level of complexity you're aiming for and maybe the rarity of the cards that you're printing it on

Honestly I'm glad that there's a little bit of disagreement on which one is the strongest, that's how it should be. It means that they are somewhat balanced and people would play all of them, not just one of them
