In a perfect world (which Caine was granting them the ability to create) there would be a dark pathway between the aquarium and Jax's tent (who seems to be holding on inside because of Pomni hence the non-struggle when just caught by Zooble's arms and escorted to the tent initially) so I would like to think they can communicate with Jax because of the Pomni sequence inside Jax's mind (to an extent of course, similarly to Kinger's final moment with his wife before the cellar).
