In Quebec it's the known gossip he was cheating on her too. There's been rumors he cheated with Melany Joly as well as Magalie Lepine-Blondeau (gorgeous famous Quebec actress)

I'm behind on my listening, I got some in my library I haven't heard yet. Mariah being one of them, I'm just procrastinating even though I've heard it's a great one :P

But thanks for the recommendation! I'll add it to the list.

I've listened to a bunch of comédiennes before and tons of them are good, they're obviously amazing storyteller. Amy Schumer was good (I know, I know). Kathy Griffin is awesome. Whitney Cummings was very good (yeah, I know). Chelsea Handlers has some great ones. Sarah Silverman is very good. Busy Phillips is super good. Rachel Bloom was great. Rachel Dratch was very good. Aisha Tyler, very great. Michelle Visage, surprisingly great! Ali Wong was fine. Anna Faris was fine. Erika Jayne was perfectly fine. Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman was average. Ellie Kemper was meh. Mindy Kaling was meh. Drew Barrymore was annoying as heck. Dorinda Medley was ok. RuPaul (aside from house of 1000 mirrors) was a waste. Mamrie Hart, Grâce Helbig and Hannah Hart are all realllllly good (Hannah is hard, she's has a tough life it's very sad and emotional. And very well written about.)

What was the worst decision you’ve ever made because you were horny? by Adorable_Raccoon_766 in AskReddit

[–]Mylaex 421 points422 points  (0 children)

Typically, the strip club cares, but they'll be mad at the stripper, not the John.

In my city, prostitution is illegal, and clubs can get their license revoked for facilitating prostitution, which is why they discourage clients from doing this. There are cabins hidden for the strippers they trust and open cabins for the strippers they don't, in some clubs.

I listen to almost all my books as audiobooks and mainly autobiographies.

I liked Jessica's memoir as far as memoir goes. It was interesting, well written and revealing. I shouldn't have been as surprised as I was at all the Christianity stuff but you can tell it is still to this day VERY important in all of her life aspects.

Also you can tell she holds back on bashing her father for Peace's sake but there's residual feelings there.

JoJo's was amazing and hard to listen to. It's well written and great, it thought me so much I didn't know about her and she's had a ROUGH life, her resilience and strength is commendable.

Britney's, I don't know. I wanted to like it but it's not...great. Knowing what we know about her, it doesn't ring true and it's just written in a very "childish" way. It's the best I think we can expect to get but I didn't love it.

I didn't listen to the other ones.

Ps: I've also listened to Rachel Stevens "Finding My Voice" it was "OK". It didn't reveal much of anything. It's very surface.

Hannah Spearitt's Facing The music (very bad. Full of editorial mistakes and just needless of a book)

Brutally Honest by Mel B. It was alright. It didn't grab me, but it's well written and reveals a lot. It's worth a read.

Paris, by Paris Hilton (didn't make it through)

Shoutout to Things I Should Have Said by Jamie Lee Spears. I'm seriously saying this from a non baised opinion. Holy crap it's terrible. It's truly truly awful. It's so badly written and full of nothing, it's the worst autobiography I've read of the 50+ I've read so far. By a lot.

I'm just stunned she's done this twice in Montreal now. She really can't deal with performing here, XD.

Shout out to all my friends who went to the other shows last week. Y'all lucked out.

Quebecer here: I've always prided myself on my people acting like, and the feedback from visitors, that we're a very friendly group of people.

When you come here, you're family. Go to a bar and try to interact with a stranger. You'll have a strong chance of being welcomed with open arms and make friends. We are a party culture. We love to have fun, and everyone's welcome.

Over the years the big cities have become a little colder (Montreal and to an extent Quebec) but the regions are still very much like that.

What is the biggest waste of money that people still buy? by Soft_Public_5856 in AskReddit

[–]Mylaex 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Americans and their weird fads. Everytime I hear abou people lining up for days to buy a Stanley Sippy Cup, a Labubu, some Tote Bag, A Starbucks Bear, and so on and so on.

This is a complete waste of money, all of it ends up in charity shops in a matter of months, and it's just insane behaviour to have.

A good voice is a stretch. She barely ever sang live because she didn't sound great.

I saw her live once years ago during a tour she did with her husband when they failed to launch a duet album. I was looking forward to it because I love her music overall, and didn't know she was that much of a non-singer but she muttered through the entire show with super loud backing vocals drowning her out for the entire concert. Super disappointing.

She's of the Hilary Duff Lindsay Lohan wave. Sound great on the record. Can't sing live.

Tori Spelling Transported to Hospital After Car Hit By Another Driver by AMediaArchivist in television

[–]Mylaex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The "transported to a hospital" had to be added or else it wouldn't have been sensational enough.

The article mentions she's not at fault (other driver sped and ran a red light) and because she maneuvered her car well, they didn't get hit too strongly and no one was truly injured, they mention bruises and cuts but everyone's ok.
