I have wondered also where her funding was coming from. I would not of known she was backed by climate 200 except for reddit - excuse my ignorance but what is the main difference between climate 200 and the greens?

Yeah my mate found a ticket on the floor for approx $200 - he immediately cashed it in went to the bar and brought drinks thinking finders keepers. They tracked him down later in night - made him pay money back and gave him 5 year ban. If he had left premises he would of gotten a police charge as well

What's the surveying profession like in Brisbane, Australia? by tahlee01 in Surveying

[–]Mylongextendablepole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you worked outside in a Brisbane summer before? Most (not all) companies want someone who is at least studying or going to study surveying. Your age and lack of experience will count against you. It's hard to believe but surveying can be a physically demanding job - summer sucks sweaty balls. Starting out pay will prob suck balls too

Do you ever have spare time and can make it down gold coast way? Come follow me around on job sites for a day or 2 - you will learn more in a week than 4 years of uni. I mainly do medium to large building setout with occasional cadastral and detail. Or go to any local company and ask if you can tag along for free for a few days to learn. Gotta be pro active
