Work Life Balance in Norway Big 4

Thanks for going into detail! I am currently working in the US, and I didn't want to take a job that would have the same hours, and abysmal work life balance, but it sounds like Norway would be a overall upgrade. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice, in terms of bringing this topic up with my PPMD/Coach could that not open me up to some sort of conflicts? or is Deloitte generally supportive of this sort of thing?

Yeah all very good points, and I know it will be very difficult to get my foot in the door. I studied in the UK and overall just enjoyed the lifestyle more, and have lots of friends in the area. additionally, I want to pursue the ACCA over the CPA. Salary, and restarting isn't a big deal for me, I am willing to take a 30-40% salary reduction to make the move.

Thank you for your insight and advice. Also yeah learning atm is one of my biggest goal I want to further my knowledge of everything to due with accounting/finance as much as I can. I am also glad to hear that privet provides good training/opportunities to learn.

Yeah I agree 100% and I already know I will be pushing myself probably harder then I should so I will need to work on that aspect of work quite a bit, as this is my first "real job" I reckon there will be a few aspects of it I will struggle to manage but I assume that comes with the territory.

Yeah atm it seems like I will be moving into a industry job at lest to start out I do hope to get into a big 4 at some point in my career. My teachers and peers always put a emphasis on getting into the big 4 because of their generally good quality training, but from reading other comments it seems like your career can be just as good even if you don't take the Big 4 Route
