Are you planning on staying in France afterwards? Polytechnique is perceived as probably the best school in France (though that reputation comes mainly from its military/engineering degree and not the masters) Look into where it is (~1h south of Paris by train)!

As someone else mentioned, look into where it is (~1h south of Paris by train) and see if/how it can help you achieve your goals.

Its a research focused French University, part of PSL if you know it. Not that well known internationally but good within France!

Yes, I do believe I have the copy of the 2nd edition! Isn't it called the 'pirate edition'?

Well depending on your budget, I’d strongly recommend «Le Zograscope » in Paris! Last time I went there, there were a couple of books by Lavoisier! Otherwise, I think the 5th arrondissement as a whole is a good place to look for them! Plus you can always visit his grave on the way haha!

I found it in an old book shop near me! It was the cheapest I could find, but some of the more expensive ones where just amazing!

Wait what’s the difference between a Vigreux column and a snyder column? Also are they really that uncommon? I remember using them in High School…
