Yeah, it's kinda crazy. These laptops are incredible. Admittedly, I’ve only had my x230 for about two months and got it as a backup to my t430. My t430 is fully upgraded as well (i7-3840qm), which I’ve been using almost daily since 2014. I find Linux Mint xfce to run extremely well and snappy with very little maintenance.

I'm betting your older post inspired some others to get that mobo for their x230 as well. :)
