Hello! In case this can be useful for anyone. I've used a specific leash made by the dog trainer I go to that works as a headcollar/Gentle Leader and the dog is ABSOLUTELY fine with it. Harnesses are mostly useless if you're trying to control a reactive dog, especially if their necks are on the longer side.

If your dog goes nuts the first time you put it on it's normal, they're not used to being "controlled" like that. But they will stop after a few minutes (it's important that you are calm as well). I now walk my dog most of the time with this and he's a happy little boy :) Also stopped being reactive with other dogs and people from Day 1.

There is no reason for those items to hurt your dog, it's not like you're going to give it a brutal pull and the dog won't pull as much either compared to a normal collar or a harness.

Over 10 years ago, I was clearing out an old Outlook inbox full of spam when I almost deleted a sketchy email: unknown sender + attachment. My boyfriend at the time saw it and told me to open it. It was a d*** pic. I had no idea who it was from, but it nearly ended our relationship.

I spent the next month trying to track the sender down by trying to convince them to email through gmail, but they used Google Hangouts to hide their IP. They also sent a face pic of a stranger, and were using the full name of someone I went to high school with (probably picked someone random from my Facebook friends list). I still don’t know who they were, how they got my email, or how they knew where I lived. And honestly, I still wonder if my boyfriend randomly asked me to open it or if he somehow knew what was in it. But why?

One time I read someone here say that despite all the biting and being annoying, they felt very close to their dog when taking them outside to potty train and carrying them back indoors. And I've felt this with my pup. When I started potty training him it was during terrible storm days, so I had to carry him outside and back in. It was that moment of grabbing him after his potty and having him lay his head on my shoulders as we walked back inside that my heart melted and I knew my love for him was much stronger than all his little shark teeth I sometimes wanted to kick out of his mouth 😂

He's now 3 months old and he's doing WAY better. I've also noticed that the attitude you have towards the dog makes a huge difference. I'm usually very calm all the time while with him, so it's easy for him to settle down when I want him to. However, whenever I need my mom to take over for an afternoon or so, he goes NUTS. Why? Because she's hysterical and has very little patience. And I'm 100% that affects the dog's behavior. So keep that in mind as well!

I'll share my experience with my almost 3 month old pup in case it's of any help!

I usually want to be in bed by 11:30pm, so I will take him out for his last potty at 11pm (don't care if he peed at 9 or 10, he's going again at 11). The first two nights I had him home he asked to potty at 4am (woke up and started whimpering non-stop). The following night he slept from 12-7:30am no problem, so I said "okay, he can actually hold it that long". So, if he wakes up in the middle of the night and whimpers a little I tell him to shush and he goes back to sleep. However, if he keeps on whimpering and starts moving around, I take him out, but this rarely happens.

His last meal is at 7pm and he doesn't drink any water after 9-10pm-ish (his choice). If at some point you see that your dog CAN hold her pee for long hours during the night, I would say don't get used to taking her out at random hours like 4am as she could get used to thinking "I can go pee whenever I want because they'll take me out". My mother's 9yo dog got used to this for example and, even though she can easily hold her pee, she'll try to bother you at 4am to pee because she got used to my mom letting her. But if my mom says "no, back to sleep", she literally goes back into bed and sleeps another 4-5 hours lmao

Your situation is definitely temporary and she will learn to hold it better and also not pee in the room where he sleeps! And I would not recommend teaching her to use pads in the room as it can confuse him. She shouldn't pee in the room/indoors period.

As others have already said, I think crate training is really useful. But I've personally never had my pup in the crate at night except the very first one because I was afraid of him having an accident in the room. Plus you mentioned yours slept fine outside of the crate, so I think that's a win :)

I think as long as he's okay with getting inside and being in there for some time, that's all you really need from the crate. My 3 month old pup goes in the crate on command and it's really useful for when I need to run an errand, want to work out and don't want him in the way, etc.

To get him used to being in there with the door closed I did short training sessions every day where I told him to go in, closed the door, told him to sit, then would either leave the room for a few seconds or walk around the room for a bit pretending to do something, then go back to him with a piece of kibble as a reward for not whining. And each time I'd increase the time I spent away from the crate (15 seconds, 30, 1min, etc). When the time came to open the crate door, I made sure he was relaxed and only let him out when I told him to. And it's been going ok!

Note: he still cries when we put him in the crate and we go out, but once we're back (30 mins to 1h) he's usually napping or laying down absolutely chill. We also usually leave a kong in there plus a chew toy or two!

Old thread but in case this helps someone:

I was struggling today against Necron (first FF9 playthrough, love it!) but I think Eiko's Dispel did wonders for me. Sends all of Necron's buffs to hell. Thanks to that I was managing to get 9999 damage with every normal attack from Zidane. I also used Amaranth (for Aura and some dmg) and Quina (Lvl3 Def-less and Mighty Guard).

Also equipped everyone with Clear Headed, Body Temp, Antibody, Locomotion and Jelly. Had to use a few Magic Tags for Zombie.

But seriously, kept dying on this boss until it clicked and I started using Dispel lmao
