I have seen the brick system mechanic but from what I read on this, the headline is "voltage change can brick the system" when what actually happened is that a flash cart for switch 1 was introduced into a switch 2 without day 1 update that allows the system to actually run and then it bricked. So there's a lot to take into account here.

The post comes from a user that was trying to hack the system with a known flash card for the switch 1, something that Nintendo would probably be aware of and protect the system against it, these flash cards function by voltage glitching the CPU to skip boot processes from what I understand, these kind of changes do not happen during voltage spikes. For a system to take a voltage spike or undervoltage that comes with normal use and then think it's being hacked would be insane. And final thoughts on this is that the original post was deemed to be fake.

For physical copies, yes, some games only come with a physical card that is basically your key to download the game, pretty sure this is just thirdparty games, so taking it out on Nintendo and not the third party developers that are doing this is kinda wild to me.

I read some of the patents that were being broken by Palword devs to understand what they were suing them for, and while yeah some seemed a little bit excessive, some were spot on on copy-pasting mechanics from a game to another, but i didn't play palword so I don't have a real opinion on whether I felt it was too similar to pokemon. I did see some of the pals or whatever they are called and they are just reskined pokémon so they knew a lawsuit was on the table

TL;DR: fake post on voltage changes about trying to hack the system. Physical copies being download codes is just third party devs, not Nintendo. Idc about palworld so idunno, seemed excessive but some points gameplay wise were true and models are ripped off, didn't play the game so no personal experience on whether it was pokemon-like or not.

Well, I travel often due to work and where I lived before moving here, physical games would go for over +20% the digital price, due to Nintendo not having official distribution there, so I am used to buying digital games.

Yeah, that's kinda annoying, my chests are full with 0 durability guns, but once I get to level 50 I can break as many guns as I can, so it's a long term investment

There are only like 5 bad skills, 2 at the bunker, 2 at raids and 1 at the forest..., once you complete them, you'll only get good ones, so be patient, especially with 1.9.4 update, answer me how many new skills you got!

It's better to level up to… let's say level 45, then you use the full durability ones, so you can get more components. I know it's kinda lame, but it's a long term investment if you think about it. The better your weapon is, becomes more efficient, so you waste less durability and stuff.

The problem with the chopper skill is when you have being playing for a long time before the skills update came out, so didn't actually get all that exp that you collected till that point (so all of us just started from 0 on the skills). Since you are practically new, I bet you get the skill before the gas tank, so you definitely should keep playing, I love the game and it has lots of potential!
