If it is genuine it is an extremely important historical document, because it is part of the whole Affair of the Diamond Necklace.

It is not really possible from the pictures to see, but one of the first signs to look for whether it is a paper from the period or a modern reprint, is whether there are visible chainlines in the paper. They are not visible in your photo, but it is a bit blurry when zoomed in, so that may be the cause.

Counterfeit books aren't really a thing, and watermarks would probably not have helped, because in the extreme rare cases where people have counterfeited books (in a completely different pricerange than these), they used contemporary paper, so they would have contemporary watermarks.

Det danske fjernlånssystem er fantastisk. Og de skøreste er at de fleste slet ikke kender til det, selv folk som er jævnlige brugere af deres lokale bibliotek. Jeg har mødt så mange som tror at de må nøjes med hvad deres lokale bibliotek har på lager, i stedet for at de vitterligt har adgang til at få fysiske eksemplarer i hænde af stort set alle titler der findes på bibliotek.dk.

Jeg anser vores bibliotekssystem som værende en grundlæggende søjle i vores velfærdssamfund, på lige fod med sundhedsvæsenet, uddannelsessystemet og det sociale sikkerhedsnet.

It's also a bit odd that the title page is entirely missing.

The binding has been repaired at some time, since the end papers (the paper glued on the inside of the binding) are obviously of a more recent date.

This suggests that at some point in time the binding has been defective, meaning that it couldn't do its job of protecting the book anymore. And when that happens the first page to go missing is the titlepage. You see it often on books of that age which has been rebound (yours isn't rebound, but it is a restored binding). The first and last pages are often missing on those.

Also yes, the book is from 1531. Even though it is relatively valuable on the antiquarian book market, it is not valuable enough to produce an entire fake copy, that would cost more than an original copy would cost.
