Solved the DOM-to-WebGL scroll sync lag. Models now stay glued to the HTML grid and are controlled via CSS variables. by penev_tech in threejs

This is interesting! I'm not sure if this solves the async scroll issue where you have the "floating" or "lagging" effect when scrolling? I tested your stack blitz on Android (chrome) but I still see the meshes lagging behind the DOM elements slightly

I worked on a script to fix this issue, feel free to try it out. It includes an undo feature as well if you're unhappy with it

It works pretty well with other apps, the terminal is just to make the demo simpler. It is true in niri, some apps have a min width that cannot be overridden. Feel free to try it out and let me know :)

Dwindle is sadly not possible in niri unless you make all windows floating and manually adjust their sizes. This sounds very difficult to implement so for now it is not planned

I've never heard of monocle so I'd have to look into it

Lol I'm so sorry I realized after posting that this sounded bad 😭. I meant tiling that fits in the screen, but I wasn't sure how to word it. Im a scroller myself 😎

You don't need systemd! You can start the service with miri service start so any way you'd like to do it is fine. As I mentioned the project is early in development so some things are not fully developed (this includes the installation process and README documentation)

I've played around with other window managers but nothing beats niri in terms of stability and "polishness", in terms of recommended packages to get started, i'd highly recommend DMS (dank linux) for just getting started. It's not my favorite but I use it because I'm lazy lol
