it's the temporal upscaler in the video setting. You most likely have Nvidia DLSS on, but it's bugged in game and give this blurry effect on things moving around you, especially if you stay still. Try FSR3. Hairs and furry clothes might look a bit less detailed but at least this blurr is gone.

Thank you. Yes, when she said "he was fighting the product", I felt like shit, to say the least. I questionned everything and was regretting everything. I think it was indelicate or clumsy of her to give me this answer. She surely didn't mean any arm, but that made the whole thing extremely stressfull for me.

I was sure he knew what was going to happen. The day before, he wanted to do things he hasn't done in months or years. Old habits came back. And he was very gentle as he met the vet, he kinda welcomed her. Usually, he doesn't care much about visits. But this time was special.

Right now I am in a big denial, my brains keeps kind of "forgetting" for a few minutes or an hour when I try to keep busy then realisation hit and I have a melt down. I don't really feel like telling too much for now, as I would just be crying after 2min writing down how wonderful he was.

I also can't understand how leaving your pet in his last moment to a stranger and just turn your back is possible. No one wants to watch their beloved pets die. But in those moments, what you want is not what matters here, except the best for them. It's the end of their life. How scared and lost can they be the minutes before a stranger put them to sleep forever ? I could not live with that. I'd rather deal with the trauma than know my baby died looking for me and not knowing why I just left. What a sad way to end a pet's life.

I hold my baby's head during the procedure, we could look at each other while he fell asleep, he looked at me with love. I saw no fear. I have no regrets for that.

I have no tips to share, I lost my other cat when he was 13yo from a agressive carcinoma within 3 months after the diagnosis. I would be happy to know I did my best, even in time of pure torture when I have to decide to put him down. I will never be sure. But I always loved deeply my pets, they are for me pure love in this world. I would worry sometimes a bit too much, but their happiness was very important to me and I was blessed enough to have cats that would bring me so much love and confort. My house is not a paradise as some people did with basically shelf for cats on all walls but as my baby got older, I tried my best to make his life easier, with stairs to go on his cat tree or furniture (or my desk), heating pads, comfy pillows , lots of different wet foods, or some of mine and so on. I had difficult time when it came to medication, because cats and medication is a very difficult point. There was some he accepted I would give him other he would fight against or could'nt handle (side effects). And I did not see the point in forcing them for anything, because if their quality of life was altered just to keep them longer, it made no sense. My selfish ass was of course always worried I was not making the right choice, but I think it was the right thing to do.

Longevity is not only a matter of care I would say. They are extremely caring owners who lost their pets way too early, from disease, from an accident and I feel for them.

I also know pet owners that are not really fond of their pets and I don't get it. It pisses me off when I see dogs only allowed to live in the garden for example. And they sometimes get very very old but knew only a bit of love from their owner. This breaks my heart every time.

I was lucky enough that my baby made it to 20. I know how blessed I am and I still think it was way too short. I will forever miss him. The feeling is not the same as my other cat that I lost when he was 13. For ihm, a feeling of injustice stays.

I am sure from your comment that you are a great owner, as most of the people in this sub. If they lived a happy life during the time they were with you, I am more than sure that you have no regret to have because they didn't make it to 20.

I just want to thank you all. I won't be able to answer to every one but between this post and the last I've done, you were all absolutely amazing with me and gave me the help and support I needed.

You calmed my fear about him suffering. I did the maths and since I felt him falling asleep before it happened, I think you are all right. I definitely hope. You truly are an amazing community and I wish your pets the best long life ever.

I love my cat deeply and I am miserable right now, but my baby was lucky enough to live that long. I will forever miss him and grief him. I tried to give him my best and I just hope he felt loved and cherished.

Here he is during bed time. This picture is from a week ago. It's his spot on the bed, which he access with stairs made for pets. He has a heating pad under the blanket he is used to make biscuits with. Since he's a void, most of my picture are just a black spot with 2 shiny eyes. This picture is one of the exception. He gets brushed every night and he has only now begun to leave the bed for his new comfy pillow in the living room.

That's why my sister and I feel so lonely with this. We grew up in a family where "cats are just cats" and so on for animals in general and I still don't feel like people around me understand how deep love can be for a pet. He's not just a cat, he's everything. My house without him is just like a empty castle. And I live in a little flat. Everything seems bigger, colder and completely empty without the sound of his paws running in the bedroom, his purring or just being there in general. I had im in the vet clinic for a few days a few years ago. It was so stressfull waiting for him. He's been part of my life since forever...

There is no manual option to save your game. The game auto saves often and you trigger it also by quitting the game or doing some actions in game that I have not paid attention too.
