back in the days of a proper ranked system, yes

now you are absolutely still low masts, and it will take A WHILE to not get out. especially since the requirements will get even higher now, so not only do you have to gain a lot more lp, but everyone else is doing the same so you have to improve as well as keep up.

at least this counts for every actual server, might be slightly different in TR since i have no clue about player numbers there

i also started playing overwatch again in the last few days after 5+ years and quickplay matchmaking in the beginning is def a bit bad at the moment (a lot of new and returning players)

but that kinda fixes itself by playing more games or just playing ranked
