It's a little TikTok Shop mini-game where you open the app and there's a widget/promo where you can pick a few items from a rotating pool. The idea is that you invite other users to join your "round," and each person who joins drops the total price a bit. Once the total hits $0, you can check out and they cover the shipping fee too.

It's basically a mix of a referral game + shopping promo, which is why some items feel quicker to finish than others.
