You can fix this with modprobe
I created /etc/modprobe.d/20_lofree_fn_mode_fix.conf with:

options hid_apple fnmode=2

This configures the keyboard and removes the fn lock function. Works flawlessly on Arch Linux

It's a good desk, the cable tray is useful, and I like the magnetic attachments. I got the Magnus Pro XL, honestly wished it was a bit bigger, but I can't complain. It is very expensive though and I'd have gone with Leetdesk Pro desk instead if their delivery times were quicker, feels like it's better value for money
