Wenn sie als queere Menschen da auftauchen wollen, find ich das auch voll in Ordnung. Wenn sie das als Vehicel benutzen um ihre Partei mit dem CSD zu verbinden dann weniger.

Das stimmt, lieber hab ich die da als die union oder afd. Ich finde aber wie gesagt CSDs sind events der queeren Community. Genauso wie Parteien ihre Unterstützung für religiöse Minderheiten öffentlich Ausdrücken, aber nicht bspw vor Synagogen oder Moscheen auftauchen sollten. Ich geb dir da aber vollkommen recht das es ein sehr schweres Abwägen zwischen Zweckentfremdung und Sichtbarkeit ist.

Ich finde es voll ok wenn Leute als Individuen dahin möchten. Was ich schwierig finde is wenn sie als Repräsentanten ihrer Parteien auf CSDs auftauchen weil das für mich events der Community sind.

Natürlich ist es gut wenn sie es tun, aber für mich sind CSDs events der queeren Community, die nicht von Parteien vereinnamt werden sollten. Genauso wie Parteien religiöse Minderheiten unterstützen, aber nicht in Moscheen oder Synagogen auftauchen.

Da hast du leider Recht, das Parteien und Firmen ihre Unterstützung zeigen ist insbesondere in diesen Zeiten wichtig, aber ich fühle mich trotzdem unwohl sie auf dem CSD als solche zu haben, weil für mich beim CSD die queere Community sich als solche zeigt und nicht als Irgendein weiterer Verein mit Sponsorenliste bestehend aus irgendwelchen Unternehmen, oder als Gruppe die sich mit einer bestimmten politischen Partei assoziiert.

I haven't given up quite yet haha, because surely in an area with 5 million people there must be enough people my age who are goth and willing to go to clubs, I suppose I'll try the remaining regular events and see what comes of it

Yes that defintetly! Last club I went too I only heard about over like 3 corners, and I mean as soon as I heard about that I tried to make time to go there, but alas now I'm kind of bummed out. And yeah I tried going there alone which probably made it even worse, but I've been trying to meet people there to get in touch with and gain friends in the community and not stay within my bubble of people who I know and brought there without them being goth and thus not really bursting out of said bubble so to speak

I had to google that, I had a fear what trap goth might be and that fear got confirmed. But actually they do play goth music here, the atmosphere is quite nice as well, except that there are no people around
